As consumers search for tasty, satisfying and good value alternatives to meat, Meatless Farm Beef Style Mince continues to dominate plant-based mince in the Fresh Meat Alternative category.

The beginning of 2025 has seen the brand mark a year as the highest selling 100% plant-based mince product, outperforming all its competitors across 2024.1

In particular, the final quarter of 2024 saw its position as the UK’s number one 100% plant-based mince reinforced due to outstanding growth. Figures from Nielsen’s Total Coverage Fresh Meat Alternative data saw the brand deliver value growth of +68.7% and unit growth +71.5%.

In 2024, Meatless Farm’s Beef Style Mince outperformed the fully plant-based mince category by 83.4%. Lydia Brook, brand manager at Meatless Farm, comments: “Holding our position as the UKs number one plant-based mince throughout 2024 [and outperforming the category by 30.6%1] is something we are very proud of.  It reflects demand we are seeing for  good quality products at an everyday affordable price and commends the hard work of our development team in creating the perfect taste and texture to keep shoppers buying again and again. As more consumers consider reducing their meat intake, or switching to meat free alternatives, we will continue  our commitment to  making Meatless Farm the go-to standard in quality meat swaps.”

Available in Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco price marked at £3.30, Meatless Farm Beef Style Mince is loved for its versatility, nutrition, and ability to easily swap into any meal plan, perfect for family favourite recipes including chilli, bolognese, and lasagne. Meatless Farm Mince is packed with 22.4g of protein per 100g (equivalent to beef mince), contains no cholesterol, is low in saturated fat, and includes fibre (a nutrient not found in beef mince). It looks, cooks, and tastes like beef mince, and is milk, egg and gluten free.
