XPO Logistics  XPO Logistics, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable end-to-end logistics solutions across Europe, has partnered with DCS Group, a key UK distributor and manufacturer that works with hundreds of brands to create numerous household-name products.

The new partnership will benefit from XPO Logistics’ expertise in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector and leverage the company’s leading IT solutions to enhance DCS Group’s entire customer experience.

DCS Group is the leader in its field, providing a wealth of services and manufacturing capabilities to support household brands reaching various important markets. Brands include Colgate, Pampers, Cow & Gate, Lemsip, Calpol, Nurofen, Daz, Surf, Comfort, Febreze, Andrex, Fairy, Finish, Domestos, Winalot, Felix, Bakers, Pedigree, and Go Cat.

Dan Myers, managing director—UK and Ireland, XPO Logistics, said: “DCS Group is a leader in household, health, and beauty products. It places the needs of its customers at the centre of every decision. Working in partnership, we will leverage our shared passion for the customer to drive transformational improvements.”

Carl Palmer, chief operations officer, DCS Group, said: “XPO Logistics was the obvious choice for our logistics partner as it has a fantastic reputation and excellent pedigree regarding FMCG transport solutions and IT solutions that create opportunities for us in our industry. We are delighted to be working with XPO Logistics.”

XPO Logistics provides full truckload and groupage services to DCS Group’s UK customer base. The deployment of Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) as a clean fuel replacement for diesel will play an essential role in supporting DCS Group’s sustainability goals. Using XPO’s technology, including the CO2 dashboard and AI route planning, will be implemented to help optimise route planning and reduce unnecessary miles.

XPO Logistics is a leading innovative supply chain company in Europe, offering end-to-end logistics solutions that combine full-truckload, less-than-truckload, pallet distribution, dedicated delivery service, last-mile delivery, global freight forwarding, and warehousing services.
