Aldi announces its hotly anticipated 2025 hot cross bun range and it’s clear the supermarket is raisin the bar this Easter. From a Nutoka flavour delight to a retro Rhubarb and Custard treat, the choices for shoppers are a-bun-dant. Even better, the range starts from just 18p a bun!

For a twist on a classic British sweet staple, Aldi’s Village Bakery Rhubarb and Custard Hot Cross Buns (£1.19p, 4 pack) are just the ticket. Packed full of delicious, candied rhubarb pieces and white chocolate chips, these nostalgic treats taste like a familiar retro sweet Brits know and love.

Back by popular demand are Aldi’s Village Bakery Nutoka Hot Cross Buns (£1.19, 4 pack). Flavoured to taste like the Aldi fan favourite chocolate hazelnut spread, the sweet Easter treat is perfect as a breakfast or midday snack.

Making dreams crumb true, Aldi’s Specially Selected Banoffee Hot Cross Buns (£1.25, 4 pack) are inspired by a classic British dessert and packed with delicious caramel fudge pieces and enriched with hints of banana.

Delighting shoppers with a delicious return and a new improved recipe are Aldi’s Specially Selected Raspberry and White Chocolate Hot Cross Buns (£1.25, 4 pack). These Good Food and Olive approved buns boast chunks of creamy white chocolate and raspberries that get better with every bite.

Chocoholics will be pleased to hear that Aldi’s Specially Selected Chocolate Brioche Hot Cross Buns (£1.69, 6 pack) are also returning to stores this Easter. Crafted with brioche-style dough and chocolate chips, these French-inspired buns are perfect for the ultimate afternoon pick-me-up. Available in stores from 20th March.

The news of these quirky flavours comes as Aldi has announced the launch of a guess the flavour hot cross bun competition where shoppers are encouraged to guess the flavour of three mystery hot cross buns for a chance to win £1,000.

Coming in hot this Easter are Aldi’s Specially Selected Fruited Brioche Hot Cross Buns (£1.69, 6 pack). Simple, sweet and packed with scrumptious mixed fruit married with the deliciously dense classic brioche texture. Available in stores from 20th March.

For those who love a classic, shoppers can’t go wrong with Aldi’s multi-award-winning Specially Selected Luxury Fruited Hot Cross Buns (£1.25, 4 pack), packed with sultanas, currants, and mixed peel. Available in stores now and suitable for vegan shoppers.

Finally, for the most affordable option on the market, Aldi’s beloved Village Bakery Fruited Hot Cross Buns (£1.05, 6 pack) are just 18p a bun! Best enjoyed toasted and slathered in a generous helping of butter for a decadent treat.

Aldi’s Hot Cross Bun Range is available in stores now.
