Playmobil launches Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures range across Argos, Very and Hamleys

PlaymobilTwo of the world’s most iconic play brands are coming together as Playmobil launches a new collection inspired by Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures, giving children the chance to build their own Barbie world at home.

From sunny beach days and café catch-ups to waterpark fun and adventures on the waves, the range puts children in charge of the story, allowing them to create, direct and reimagine their own Barbie-inspired adventures.

For decades, Barbie and Playmobil have helped children imagine who they might become – astronaut, pop star, vet, or a brave adventurer. Barbie has inspired generations to dream big, and Playmobil has given children the characters, settings and stories to act those dreams out.

The new range combines the friendship, colour and confidence of Barbie with Playmobil’s hands-on, buildable play. Children can create the scene, move the characters, change the story and decide what happens next – whether Barbie is opening the café, heading to the beach, splashing through the waterpark or setting off on a boat adventure.

Available from Argos, Very and Hamleys, the collection gives families a fresh way to step into Barbie’s world away from screens. Instead of simply watching the adventure unfold, children can build it, direct it and make it their own.

The range includes the Playmobil x Barbie Waterpark, Playmobil x Barbie Beach Café and Playmobil x Barbie Adventure Boat, each designed to help children create their own Barbie-inspired stories. The wider collection also includes Playmobil x Barbie Malibu and Playmobil x Barbie Brooklyn figures, bringing some of Barbie’s best-known characters into the Playmobil world.

Jamie Dickinson, head of marketing at Playmobil, said: “Barbie has always encouraged children to believe they can be anything. Playmobil gives them the tools to act those ideas out, build the world around them and decide where the story goes next through play.

“This collection is about inspiring and building confidence with the next generation of storytellers, builders, adventurers and dreamers. It gives children a creative Barbie world they recognise, but one they can shape entirely for themselves with their own imagination.”

Rooted in Playmobil’s belief that the best play happens when children lead the story, the collection gives young fans the freedom to create their own Barbie-inspired adventures again and again.

The Playmobil x Barbie collection will be available in the UK from selected retailers including Argos.co.uk.
