Primark set to open its first standalone Home store in Great Britain this summer

PrimarkThis summer, Primark is giving interiors lovers another reason to celebrate with the launch of its first standalone Home store in Great Britain, opening at Trafford Palazzo in Manchester.

Following the opening of its debut Home location in Belfast earlier this year, the new 11,900 sq. ft, two-floor store will bring together the very best of Primark’s interiors offering, all under one roof. Manchester shoppers can discover an expanded range of homeware and lifestyle essentials to give their home the glow-up it deserves, including high-quality essentials like cotton bedding and towels, soft furnishings, small furniture and quirky ceramics.

Keeping up with the latest homeware trends, from teddy bear bedding and dainty bow decor to seafood-inspired tableware, as well as must-have essentials, Primark Home combines style, comfort and value to help shoppers make a house a home. The new store will feature Primark’s recently launched Edit, an elevated collection of home products such as chic tableware, plush towels and luxury home fragrances.

It will also include a dedicated Travel Shop, helping customers get holiday-ready all year round with a range of stylish and practical travel essentials.

Paul Baldwin, trading director for Home at Primark said: “Our mission is simple: to make it easy for everyone to create a home they love, without breaking the bank. Customer reaction to our first Primark Home store in Belfast has been really positive, and we can’t wait to bring this exciting new concept to Great Britain later this summer. Homes have become more than just places to live, they’re an extension of our personalities, so whether it’s soft furnishings, statement tableware, or smart storage solutions you’re after, our range has something for every style and budget.”

Mark Whittaker, managing director at Peel Retail and Leisure, said: “The opening of Primark Home at Trafford Palazzo, in the heart of TraffordCity, is an incredibly exciting moment for us. Not only because we are the first destination in Great Britain to do so, but the opening is going to be adding a leading concept to our already unique mixture of immersive shopping and leisure experiences. Primark Home will have something for everyone, and we look forward to the store opening in summer.”

Primark Home at Trafford Palazzo will be the retailer’s first store in Great Britain, and will complement existing Primark shops across Greater Manchester, including those in Trafford Palazzo, Manchester Market Street, through to Oldham, Bury and Wigan.

While the standalone Home offering will bring a brand-new shopping experience, shoppers can continue to enjoy the breadth of Primark’s full ranges in its main Trafford Palazzo store located just moments away, including the recently opened Primark Café with Disney’s Stitch, available for a limited time only.

And for those looking to shop closer to home, customers can explore a selection of homeware favourites in their local store or via Click & Collect, now available in all stores across Great Britain.
