Wingstop UK, the ultimate experience for iconic wing flavours to enjoy with family and friends, is thrilled to have been recognised as the fastest growing restaurant group in the UK by The Sunday Times 100, for the third year in a row.
Wingstop UK has been ranked 42nd on the list. The Top 100, which showcases Britain’s fastest-growing private companies, plan to create 5,300 jobs in the next year, with Wingstop UK making up 1,500 of them. This year, Wingstop UK has been recognised alongside leading brands including Simmer Eats, Hawkstone and Flat Iron Steak.
In a fiercely competitive market, this recognition is a testament to the sustained success and rapid growth of Wingstop UK. The brand is on track to complete a year of record expansion, with 20 new openings planned by the end of 2025. Since launching in the UK in 2018, Wingstop UK now operates 67 sites nationwide and employs 2,700 people.
Next month, Wingstop UK will open in Westfield Shepherd’s Bush, one of the UK’s busiest and most popular shopping destinations. The launch comes a year after the brand opened its flagship site at Westfield Stratford City, the biggest Wingstop worldwide with over 160 covers. Driven by strong demand, Wingstop UK continues its expansion across London, having recently opened in Streatham and Walthamstow.
Wingstop UK’s placement in The Sunday Times 100 comes hot on the heels of its recognition in the same newspaper’s Best Places to Work Awards in May 2025, where it was highly commended for Best Places to Work for Ethnic Minority Employees. The award celebrates Wingstop UK’s Learning & Development team and their commitment to building a culture that’s as bold as the wings themselves, turning what might have been ‘just a job’ into a meaningful career in hospitality.
Chris Sherriff, CEO at Wingstop UK, said: “We’re proud to be recognised as one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies for the third year in a row – a reflection of the incredible hard work and dedication of our teams. At Wingstop UK, we’ve fostered a great internal culture where people feel empowered to grow, and initiatives like our Step-Up programme and Wingstop University have created clear pathways for career progression across the business.
A huge thank you to our loyal fans who love our bold flavours, in-store experience and exciting community events. As our UK expansion continues at pace, we’re looking forward to opening more sites to meet the unparalleled demand for our wings.”
