Oasis-themed fashion searchesDemand for Oasis-themed fashion has increased by 913% as the long-awaited reunion of the 90’s Manchester band approaches.

In data revealed by sports fashion giant JD, searches including Oasis on site saw nearly quadruple digit growth over the month of June when compared with the month of May.

Even searches for just ‘Oasis’ are up 464% on the retailer’s website as fans look for themed fashion to wear on the upcoming UK tour dates.

In addition, many traditional adidas ‘terrace’ footwear styles also have seen demand increases over the last month, with queries for ‘Oasis trainers’ up 139%.

Interest in ‘Gazelle’ rose by 29% in June compared to May, while specific searches for ‘gazelle indoor’ climbed even higher, up 146%.

Queries including another popular adidas silhouette, ‘Samba’ increased 25%, but it was the ‘samba xlg’ that saw a dramatic spike—up 41% over the prior four-week period.

There is a 7% uptick in searches for Spezial, with a notable 115% surge in interest for ‘men’s adidas spezial’.

The adidas SL 72 experienced a 78% month-on-month growth, and impressions for the franchise are up 6000% vs June last year.

Callum McGuinness, Digital Trading Lead for JD UK & ROI, said: “With Oasis fever sweeping the UK ahead of the band’s highly anticipated reunion, demand for the group’s iconic 90s fashion has surged.

“Fans are embracing the nostalgia by turning to timeless adidas silhouettes—such as Gazelles, Sambas, and Spezials —to complete their gig-ready looks.”

Oasis kick off their reunion tour in Cardiff on Friday 4th of July before moving onto Manchester, London, and Edinburgh in the UK.
