Pip Organic partners with food rescue charity, City Harvest, utilising their stocks to give back to the community across London

Pip Organic PIP ORGANIC is backing London food rescue charity, City Harvest, in its ongoing mission to combat food poverty and waste across London.

The family-owned B Corp family drinks and snacking brand, based in Putney, helped the charity prepare for donations at the Acton and Battersea sites over Christmas, donating over 12,000 units of Pipsticks fruit snacks and orange juice for school children in need.

Food poverty is now at an all-time high – especially during the school holidays when vulnerable families lose the support of term-time free school meals, breakfast clubs and childcare. In the last year, food insecurity has increased significantly in London – from 8.6% to 10.6% of households. This means that the level of food insecurity in London has increased by 23%, in just one year. https://trustforlondon.org.uk/news/london-food-poverty/ Christmas 2026 was one of the most difficult on record, with food prices skyrocketing over the last year.

Made with no added sugar, artificial sweeteners or additives, children can access Pip Organic juices and snacks through City Harvest and its 350 charity partners across London, which includes nurseries and community holiday clubs.

Pip Organic co-founder, Karen O’Flaherty, said: “’We believe every child should have access to nourishing food, and we’re proud to support City Harvest in their work.”

Jamie Dyck, senior food sourcing manager at City Harvest, said: “Currently 40% of London children are food insecure. At City Harvest, we support around 40,000 children a week with free food via children’s centres, youth groups, school food banks and nurseries. PIP Organic’s child-friendly snacks and drinks will go a long way to help provide nutritious free food and drinks for families and children who can’t ordinarily access healthier options.”
