Fueled by viral content and TikTok trends, posts on the hashtag #kbeauty have reached over 9.5 billion views with over 3 million posts on TikTok. K-beauty continues to dominate the global beauty landscape, with concepts like ‘glass skin’ and sheet masks to specific ingredients such as snail mucin and salmon sperm driving widespread interest.

As we head into the warmer months, we’re naturally shifting our skincare routines towards lightweight, hydrating, and protective formulas. From glow-boosting serums to soothing ingredients designed for sun exposure, K-beauty is set to continue trending this summer.

New data from LookFantastic highlights the Korean beauty brands and products seeing the biggest surge in demand over the past 3 months (February to April), based on their internal data.

According to the data, the top three K-beauty brands over the past three months are Beauty of Joseon, with more than 48,000 searches on LookFantastic’s website, followed by Laneige with over 36,000, and Erborian with more than 19,000 searches.

The top 5 K-Beauty products this spring:

According to the data from LookFantastic, these are the top 5 K-beauty products right now, from collagen-infused to anti-inflammatory skincare.

  1. Medicube Collagen

The most searched product is Medicube Collagen, which generated nearly 5,000 searches last quarter, making it the standout K-beauty product trend. Its popularity highlights the growing demand for collagen-infused skincare designed to improve skin elasticity, hydration and overall plumpness, particularly as consumers seek glow-enhancing products ahead of summer.

  1. Anua PDRN Serum

The Anua PDRN Serum is quickly rising in demand, with over 2,500 product searches in the last quarter. PDRN has quickly become one of the most in-demand skincare ingredients thanks to its regenerative and skin-repairing properties, making it a go-to for those looking to strengthen and restore their skin barrier.

  1. Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream

A hero product for the Beauty of Joseon with over 2,800 searches, “Beauty of Joseon Dynasty” continues to see strong search demand, reflecting skin care lovers’ interest in nourishing, traditional-inspired skincare. Known for its rich, hydrating formula, it remains a staple for maintaining skin health and radiance.

  1. Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum

With over 1,600 searches for Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum, highlight the continued demand for glow-boosting skincare designed to enhance radiance and improve overall skin clarity. As dewy, luminous skin remains a key beauty trend, products like this are expected to perform strongly into summer.

  1. Anua Heartleaf Deep Poor Cleanser

The Anua heatleaf cleanser searches reached over 1,700 searches last quarter, driven by demand for calming, soothing skincare. Heartleaf is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, making it particularly popular among those with sensitive or irritated skin, especially during warmer months.

The ingredients driving these product trends right now

If you’re wondering what’s behind the hype, it all comes down to ingredients. According to the data, these are the ones to know:

  1. Collagen

The most in-demand ingredient right now, loved for its ability to hydrate, plump and smooth the skin. While topical collagen doesn’t replace what we naturally lose over time, it works to deeply moisturise and improve the skin’s overall bounce and appearance, making it a go-to for achieving that dewy, “glass skin” finish K-Beauty is known for.

  1. PDRN

A rising star in skincare, known for its powerful repairing and rejuvenating properties. Often referred to as a next-generation ingredient, PDRN helps support skin regeneration, improve elasticity and strengthen the skin barrier making it especially popular for those looking to target damage, dullness or early signs of ageing.

  1. Heartleaf

A soothing, skin-calming ingredient that’s perfect for reducing redness and irritation. Ideal for sensitive or acne-prone skin, Heartleaf is known for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, helping to calm breakouts while keeping the skin balanced and comfortable.

  1. Centella (Cica)

A go-to ingredient for sensitive, stressed or compromised skin. Famous for its healing benefits, Centella helps to repair the skin barrier, reduce inflammation and boost hydration. It’s particularly popular in summer, when skin is more prone to irritation from sun exposure and heat.

  1. Ginseng & Black Rice

Traditional K-Beauty ingredients that continue to stand the test of time. Ginseng is prized for its anti-ageing benefits, helping to improve elasticity and revitalise tired-looking skin, while Black Rice is rich in antioxidants, working to protect against environmental damage and support a brighter, more even complexion.
