Howarth Timber & Building Supplies has raised an impressive £40,574 for Andy’s Man Club, following a wide-ranging programme of employee-led fundraising activities across its branches, including several in the North of England.
Since June 2025, teams across the business have taken part in a variety of events designed to bring colleagues and communities together while raising vital funds for the charity, which supports men’s mental health and works to break down stigma around seeking help.
Activities have included dart event nights, sponsored walks across Yorkshire, “brave the shave” challenges, golf days, the Harrogate Yorkshire Three Peaks walk, marathons, 5-a-side football tournaments, and even pigeon clay shooting events. The initiatives have been driven by strong participation across branches, with staff and supporters uniting behind a shared cause.
Gavin Knowles, head of marketing and digital at Howarth Timber, said: “Since June 2025, we’ve supported Andy’s Man Club to help break the stigma around men’s mental health and support those who need it most.”
The fundraising total highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and mental health awareness, with further activities planned as the partnership continues.
