Cotswolds Designer Outlet celebrated its first year in business with a week-long programme of anniversary events.
The first birthday celebrations, held from the 13th to the 19th July, saw thousands of shoppers enjoy live entertainment, wellness experiences and family activities, which culminated in a fantastic weekend of music, performances and giveaways.
The events marked an important milestone for the outlet, which has welcomed millions of visitors since opening on 16th July 2025.
Now fully let, the scheme has established itself as a significant contributor to Gloucestershire’s retail and tourism economy, creating more than 600 permanent jobs and attracting continued investment into the region.
Home to more than 50 premium national and international brands including Sweaty Betty, adidas, Reiss, The North Face and BOSS, alongside restaurants such as wagamama, Zizzi and Caffè Nero, the 136,000 sq ft destination has become a major draw for shoppers across the South West, South Midlands and beyond.
The outlet has also remained committed to championing local enterprise through independent businesses including KNEAD Bakery and The Patisserie Box as well as an ongoing programme of pop-up traders showcasing local producers.
Cotswolds Designer Outlet has also invested heavily in its community programme by delivering free family events and supporting organisations including Tewkesbury Abbey, The Roses Theatre, the Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards and the SoGlos Lifestyle and Community Awards.
Adrian Field, centre manager at Cotswolds Designer Outlet, said: “Our first birthday is a significant milestone and a chance to reflect on everything we’ve achieved in just twelve months.
“The response to our anniversary celebrations has been wonderful with thousands of visitors joining us throughout the week.
We’d like to thank our retailers, partners and the local community for their continued support as we look ahead to another exciting year of growth.”
