Lindores Abbey Distillery has appointed Chanel Liquori as Director of Export Sales, bringing more than two decades of international experience across global drinks groups, independent spirits producers and emerging craft brands to the Fife distillery.
Liquori began her career in the drinks industry in 2003, working as a bartender before moving into sales and brand advocacy roles. Her career has spanned New Zealand, Australia, Asia, the US and UK, where she has worked with the likes of Pernod Ricard, Bacardi, and a number of independent and challenger spirits brands.
Chanel continues to champion founder-led spirits brands through her work with Liquori Co, where she leads commercial strategy, trade engagement, export and market development.
At Lindores Abbey Distillery, Liquori will focus on developing the distillery’s international presence, identifying new opportunities for growth and strengthening relationships with importers, distributors and drinks trade partners around the world.
Commenting on her appointment, Chanel Liquori said: “I’ve followed Lindores Abbey for many years and, since working with them, I’ve been consistently impressed by the team’s focus and passion for the brand’s success. It comes through in their sense of care and community. Stepping into the Director of Export Sales role, I’m excited to help carry that spirit into new markets.”
Lindores Abbey Distillery, located in Fife, is widely recognised as the spiritual home of Scotch whisky and has built a growing international reputation for its range of single malt Scotch whiskies.
Liquori’s appointment marks the next chapter in the distillery’s international development, alongside the appointment of COO, Jennifer Donaldson earlier in 2026. Both are focused on sharing Lindores Abbey’s distinctive heritage and whisky stories on a larger global scale.
