Oak FurniturelandOak Furnitureland, the specialist furniture and homewares retailer, has announced plans to open a new showroom in Ipswich this weekend on Saturday 29th August, bringing its collection of stylish, high-quality furniture to even more customers across the country.

Located at Euro Park Retail Park, the 17,000 sq. ft showroom will showcase the retailer’s expanding ‘Whole Home’ proposition, featuring a series of fully styled room sets to help customers visualise looks across living, dining, and bedroom spaces.

The offering will include several new ranges including the Savannah and Corton collections which feature elevated and modern cabinetry designed for the living room, bedroom, and dining spaces such as TV units, coffee tables, and bedframes.

Customers will also be able to try the new Phoenix CineLuxe and Hadley sofas. A high-back recliner, the Hadley is also complete with a USB-C charging port while the Phoenix tech sofa features reclining seats and integrated speakers for a fully immersive experience – perfect for film fans.

The opening has created seven new jobs locally, including roles across sales and showroom management.

Lee Finch, Showroom Manager, said: “The team is really excited to open the doors to our new Ipswich showroom this weekend. We’re looking forward to welcoming customers from the local area and beyond to our store, and our team will be on hand to help you choose the right pieces for your home.”

Alex Fisher, chief executive of Oak Furnitureland, said: “It’s great to be opening a new showroom in Ipswich – it’s an important step as we continue to invest in our network across the UK. We’re really proud of our expanding range of high-quality, stylish furniture – offering great value at outstanding prices, and which is designed to grow with our customers’ homes. We’re looking forward to welcoming people from across Suffolk to the new store soon.”

Last year, the retailer launched its Lifetime Furniture Guarantee, which covers the structural framework of both cabinet and upholstery collections and demonstrates a clear commitment to furniture built to last. Flexible interest-free credit options are also available, making stylish, high-quality furniture for the whole home accessible to even more homes and families

This latest opening takes their estate to 70 showrooms nationwide, as Oak Furnitureland continues to invest in its retail estate while enhancing the experience for customers both in-showroom and online.
