Black Sheep CoffeeBlack Sheep Coffee (https://blacksheepcoffee.co.uk/) is set to open a new store on Southwark Bridge Road, bringing its signature specialty coffee to a prime central London location. To celebrate the opening, customers will be able to enjoy the brand’s speciality-grade coffees for just £1 on Friday 30 October.

Located at 1 Southwark Bridge Road, SE1 9HL, the recently renovated 1,300 sq ft store will offer 69 seats, including 40 internal seats and 29 outdoor seats. Customers can enjoy their coffee against the backdrop of London’s iconic skyline, with Borough Market, Shakespeare’s Globe and the Shard all nearby.

The store is ideally placed for visitors exploring the South Bank, making it a convenient stop for those discovering London, grabbing a morning coffee, refuelling between sightseeing or taking a break while exploring the riverside.

Customers will be able to enjoy the full Black Sheep Coffee menu, including its 100% specialty-grade Robusta coffee, which naturally contains double the caffeine of Arabica, alongside ceremonial-grade matcha, freshly made Norwegian waffles, all-day breakfast and premium bakery items.

The renovation has transformed the former office space into a contemporary coffee destination, with Black Sheep Coffee’s distinctive branding taking centre stage. The store’s central logo and graffiti-inspired details bring the brand’s bold identity to life within the Southwark streetscape.

The new store will be operated by a London-based franchise partner, marking another step in Black Sheep Coffee’s continued growth across the capital. The project took more than a year to bring to fruition, with the team working to transform the property into a new destination for coffee lovers in the heart of Southwark.

The Franchisees commented: “Opening our new Black Sheep Coffee on Southwark Bridge Road is particularly special to us, as we’ve lived in London for many years and have always been drawn to this part of the city. We love its diversity and the mix of local residents, people working nearby and visitors enjoying everything the riverside has to offer. When we first considered the location, we could immediately see how well it suited the Black Sheep Coffee brand. We wanted to create a welcoming space for everyone, whether they’re picking up their morning coffee, meeting friends or exploring London. It feels very personal to be opening a store in an area we’ve known and admired for so long, and we’re incredibly excited to become part of the local community.”

To mark the opening, Black Sheep Coffee will offer £1 coffees on Friday 30 October.

Black Sheep Coffee Southwark will open on Friday 30th October 2026 at 1 Southwark Bridge Road, SE1 9HL. Opening hours are 6:30am-8pm Monday to Friday and 8am-8pm Saturday and Sunday.
