Bootmaker R.M.Williams celebrates new campaign with actor Joel Edgerton

R.M.Williams Australian bootmaker R.M.Williams introduces ‘Worn Well’, starring Australian actor, writer and filmmaker Joel Edgerton, celebrating a life shaped by experience. Built on the belief that character isn’t something you put on, but something earned over time, Worn Well explores the people, places and experiences that leave their mark. Like a well-worn pair of R.M.Williams boots, these stories become richer with time.

Joel Edgerton: a life worn well

A long-time wearer of R.M.Williams boots, Joel shares a genuine connection with the brand. Worn Well features boots from his personal collection alongside new season styles including Craftsman, Yearling, Rigger and Gardener.

“There’s something I really value about things that are made to last. Whether it’s a pair of boots, a piece of work or the relationships you build along the way, time gives things meaning. That idea really resonated with me when it came to Worn Well,” says Joel Edgerton.

“I’ve always respected what R.M.Williams represents, great craftsmanship, longevity and a very Australian sense of identity. Worn Well feltlike a natural fit because it’ s really about celebrating experience and the character we build over time”.

‘Worn Well’ reflects a distinctly Australian approach to style and character, grounded in authenticity, craft and substance; qualities shared by Joel and R.M.Williams and reflected in work designed to stand the test of time.

“Joel was a natural choice for ‘Worn Well’. He brings an authenticity and quiet confidence that strongly reflects the spirit of R.M.Williams. His career has been built on craft, longevity and following his own path, qualities that sit at the heart of this campaign,” says Paul Grosmann, R.M.Williams CEO.

Made for Life

For more than 90 years, R.M.Williams has created products designed to be lived in. From its iconic boots handcrafted in Adelaide to its evolving collections of apparel and accessories, the brand continues to champion durability and timeless Australian design. Made with purpose and designed for longevity, each piece is created to accompany its wearer through everyday moments and defining experiences. A well-worn pair of boots carries the evidence of that journey: the places it has seen and the experiences lived. Marks, creases and patina become part of its story.

‘Worn Well’ brings these principles together to celebrate not simply products, but the lives lived in them. R.M.Williams boots, apparel and accessories are available at stores across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and online globally.
