Forget the costume: Curvy Kate’s six lingerie looks for Halloween

From corset-inspired longlines and sheer mesh to high-shine finishes and statement strapping, Curvy Kate’s Halloween edit puts fuller-bust lingerie at the centre of the look.

With Halloween approaching, the search for the perfect October 31st outfit is officially on — but this year, the answer might already be in your lingerie drawer.

Fuller-bust lingerie brand Curvy Kate has revealed its Halloween edit, featuring six statement black lingerie styles that can be incorporated into everything from an all-out Halloween outfit to a more subtle after-dark look.

Spanning sheer mesh, dramatic strapping, corset-inspired longlines, high-shine finishes and statement hardware, the edit makes a case for lingerie that deserves to be seen. Think bras styled beneath oversized blazers, longline pieces worn as tops, and strappy sets paired with leather, sheer layers and Halloween accessories.

And unlike an outfit reserved for one night of the year, these are pieces that can return to your lingerie drawer long after October 31st.

Here are the six styles to know.

Showgirl – £48

For those who prefer glamour to gore, Showgirl is a standout.

The dramatic longline style combines sheer black panelling with intricate embroidery and a structured silhouette, creating a corset-inspired look that makes just as much impact styled as outerwear as it does underneath it.

Pair with tailored trousers or a sleek black skirt for a grown-up Halloween look, or layer beneath a blazer and allow the intricate detailing to peek through.

Unbuckled – £39

Strapping takes centre stage with Unbuckled, a sheer black style punctuated by statement buckle hardware.

Multiple straps frame the body, while sheer panelling creates a bold, barely-there finish. The buckle detailing gives the style an unmistakably rebellious edge, making it an easy starting point for a Halloween look without relying on a traditional costume.

Add leather, an oversized jacket or all-black accessories for an effortless after-dark look.

Studded Seduction – £44

The clue is in the name.

Studded Seduction combines a glossy black finish with statement strapping and studded hardware for one of the boldest looks in Curvy Kate’s Halloween line-up.

The structured half-cup silhouette and high-shine finish make this lingerie designed to be noticed. Style with a leather jacket and black separates for a rock-inspired Halloween look, or incorporate it into something altogether more daring.

Unapologetic – £46

For a sleeker approach to underwear as outerwear, Unapologetic combines the structure of lingerie with the silhouette of a statement top.

The black longline balcony style extends beneath the bust to create a corset-inspired shape, making it particularly easy to work into an outfit rather than hide underneath one.

Pair with an oversized blazer, wide-leg tailoring or leather for a Halloween look that works just as well beyond October 31st.

Scandal – £39

If Halloween is the excuse to dial up the drama, Scandal understood the assignment.

Sheer black mesh is combined with sweeping cage-style straps that frame the body, while statement detailing adds to its striking silhouette.

It’s one of the most dramatic styles in the edit and needs very little else to create an impactful Halloween look. Pair with black separates and let the strapping become the focal point.

Friction – £39

For something sultry but slightly more pared back, Friction combines sheer black mesh with geometric strapping and statement hardware.

The delicate mesh contrasts with the graphic strap detailing to create a contemporary black lingerie look that nods to Halloween without feeling like a costume.

Wear beneath a sheer black top, allow it to peek out from tailoring, or simply save it for after dark.

Whether the dress code calls for full Halloween drama or simply an excuse to wear something a little bolder, Curvy Kate’s edit offers six ways to embrace the occasion,  with pieces that won’t be relegated to the back of the wardrobe on November 1st.

The Curvy Kate Halloween edit is available now at curvykate.com, subject to availability.
