Absolute Collagen, the award-winning collagen supplement backed by skin and hair experts, has chosen Pinterest and its new Premiere Spotlight ad format to raise awareness of its new Deep Lift skincare range.

Pinterest’s Premiere Spotlight is a high-impact solution for advertisers, designed to help them reach large audiences. With Premiere Spotlight, brands can secure premium placements on the platform for a selected period of time to promote high-visibility campaigns to users.

This new ad format showcases videos in locations such as the search page and the user’s home page, allowing brands to reserve their placement and dominate the screen, occupying approximately 50% of the mobile device space on the Pinterest search page.

Absolute Collagen is one of the first beauty and wellbeing brands to embrace Premiere Spotlight for a product launch and brand recognition campaign. Live in October, the campaign featuring broadcaster Emma Willis focuses on its Deep Lift range, including a Serum, Day Cream, Eye Cream and Night Cream which promises to boost the skin to feel strong, firmer, and deeply hydrated.

Beauty is one of the biggest categories on Pinterest, with millions of people coming to the platform each month to find inspiration and shop for new products. Helping Pinners find exactly what they are looking for, with searches for glowing skin collagen and premium skincare products all increasing on the platform, the use of  Premiere Spotlight means that consumers searching for ideas related to women’s health, beauty and premium skincare will be served Absolute Collagen’s Deep Skin campaign.

Darcy Laceby, co-founder at Absolute Collagen, said: “At Absolute Collagen are passionate about championing absolute possibility in women, which is why we created The Deep Lift Skincare Range to support women to feel strong in their own skin. We know Pinterest is a true haven of beauty online and their insights show that people are searching for new routines and products to rejuvenate their skincare routines. By using their latest high-impact ad format we’re able to reach an engaged audience who are actively seeking clinically-proven skincare solutions for glowing skin.”

Mairead Connolly, senior client partner at Pinterest UK says, “Pinterest is one of the biggest beauty platforms in the world where millions of Pinners search for fresh beauty and wellness ideas to get inspired by and take action on. It’s important for us to make it easy for users to find inspiration which is relevant and personalised to their skincare routines. So we’re delighted to support Absolute Collagen’s latest campaign launch through our new Premiere Spotlight format, raising awareness of their Deep Lift skincare range for healthier-looking skin.”

Each month, more than 465 million people around the world come to Pinterest to make inspired purchasing decisions for their everyday life. When Pinners want ideas, they come to Pinterest first. It’s where they get inspiration, find new dreams, plan and shop for the moments that matter most. And every time that someone searches on Pinterest, they’re thinking about what they want to try or buy next. Because the platform is grounded in the future, Pinterest gets an earlier indication of where consumers are headed and can help brands predict what is to come.
