Adventure is one step closer: Montirex launches at JD

Montirex fans need look no further than JD the leading retailer for youth fashion and sports brands, to get their hands on the latest in technical, cutting-edge clothing.

The King of Trainers today debuts the British activewear brand which empowers athletes across the world with a system of clothing that performs for every activity. Bridging the gap between streetwear and sportswear, Montirex was founded in Liverpool in 2019 by best mates – Daniel Yuen (25) and Kieran Riddell-Austin (27). Since then, it has propelled to fame, quickly amassing a celebrity-like following with its must-have running pants, t-shirts and shorts.

Designed for men, women, and kids, the successful and affordable activewear brand Montirex, started life with just three t-shirts but now boasts a whole collection of sport and fashion-focused staples that will be available online and in-store at JD. Although stylish and tailored, Montirex clothing is designed with performance in mind. Technical materials and fabrics are used to develop clothes that can handle any challenge.

“I always wanted to do more and be more,” says Kieran Riddell-Austin, co-founder of Montirex. “Montirex was built around this ethos of ‘daring to be great. Growing up shopping at JD and now being a part of it is incredible. Danny and I are really excited for the next part of the adventure. We have worked towards this for the past 3 years and its now a reality.”

A collection purposefully built to enhance performance and provide maximum comfort, key pieces for men include the Trek 2.0 Windrunner Jacket with a water-resistant finish and adjustable hood to amp up the coverage. From training sessions to recovery days, update your style with the Curve Run Tack Pants in a slim fit with an elasticated waistband and internal drawcord for custom comfort. Make a statement with the Track Fade T-Shirt in a fiery orange colourway, made from a light and breathable poly fabric, with a crew neckline and short sleeves for a classic look.

For women, extra support is provided via the Energy Seamless Bra – a tight-fit staple made from lightweight knit fabric that is both smooth and stretchy, with a racerback detail and seamless finish for maximum comfort. Stretch, run and squat in the Icon Tights, a high-rise fitness legging in a figure hugging fit, and elevate your workouts with the Trail 2.0 T-Shirt, featuring reflective branding at the chest and added stretch as you move.
