The Cotswold CompanyThe Cotswold Company (the “Company”), the digitally-led premium handcrafted furniture and homeware brand, is delighted to launch on www.next.co.uk, extending the brand’s distribution model to now include a third-party retail platform in addition to its fast-growing e commerce platform and 10 showrooms across the UK.

Founded in 1996 in the heart of the Cotswolds, the Cotswold Company sells thoughtfully designed, carefully crafted premium furniture and homewares. Its timeless products for the home and garden – from comfy beds to roomy wardrobes and sink-in sofas – champion traceable timber and are designed for life and built to last. All furniture comes with a 15-year guarantee, reflecting the brand’s commitment and confidence in the quality of its frames, joints, hinges, and handles.

A selection of the Cotswold Company’s bedroom, dining and living room furniture has been available to NEXT customers since the first of November, significantly expanding the brand’s reach. This includes its best-selling Camille limewash oak range and Chantilly painted ranges in dusky black and pebble grey. In the New Year, the company expects to expand this to include a range of the Cotswold Company’s premium and characterful accessories.

In the six months to 31 August 2024, the Cotswold Company increased sales by 15%, significantly ahead of the broader UK homeware market. The listing on www.next.co.uk will create new opportunities to introduce consumers to the brand, build brand loyalty, and inspire more to switch to high-quality, made-to-last furniture.

Orders will be fulfilled via the Cotswold Company’s Cotswold Home Delivery service. This specialist, white-glove service allows more time for drivers – all who have had expert training to confidently handle challenging furniture delivery scenarios – to complete deliveries and offer peace of mind to customers.

Ralph Tucker, chief executive officer of The Cotswold Company, said: “We’re delighted to partner with NEXT. With its vast customer base, exceptional track-record and growing collection of third-party brands, NEXT is one of the most highly respected retailers in the world. This partnership offers The Cotswold Company a unique opportunity to introduce our brand to more consumers, whilst continuing to leverage our in-house home delivery service.

“This move makes The Cotswold Company a truly omnichannel brand with the foundations – and momentum – to continue accelerating our growth and become one of the UK’s leading premium homeware brands. We look forward to delivering further progress against our growth strategy in the months ahead.”
