ffhas launched a new cookbook in partnership with Team GB and ParalympicsGB, which is available in stores from today.

The cookbook, called ‘Eat like a Champion’, includes 80 recipes that have been inspired by athletes and nutritionists such as Paula Radcliffe and Laura and Jason Kenny from Team GB and ParalympicsGB.

All of the proceeds from the cookbook will be donated to charity, with a portion going to the British Olympic Association and British Paralympic Association, while the remaining profits will go towards supporting Aldi’s dedicated charity, Teenage Cancer Trust.

From simple snacks to meal-prep masterpieces, these recipes have been created for their simplicity and nutritional value, so that everyone can ‘Eat Like a Champion’ at an affordable price.

Shoppers can pick up the cookbook for just £4.99 in all of Aldi’s 1,000 UK stores.

Julie Ashfield, managing director of buying at Aldi UK, said: “We know from our partnerships with Team GB and ParalympicsGB that eating healthily is a key part of feeling our best.

“These recipes are simple to cook and use everyday ingredients, showing we don’t have to be a Team GB or ParalympicsGB athlete to eat like one.

“Not only this, but all the proceeds from our cookbook will also provide additional support for both the British Olympic Association and British Paralympic Association, as well as our dedicated charity, Teenage Cancer Trust. We’re looking forward to seeing which recipes our customers love the most!”

Aldi has been the official supermarket for Team GB since 2015 and has since extended its commitment by becoming the official partner of ParalympicsGB back in March 2022.

Aldi also celebrated raising £9m for Teenage Cancer Trust in September 2023, which means the supermarket is ahead of schedule to reach its £10m target by 2027.
