AliExpress In a shake-up to the e-commerce shopping customer subscription market, AliExpress, the international online retail marketplace, has launched Elite, the membership programme, rewarding its most loyal shoppers with exclusive discounts, fast delivery and dedicated service.
Unlike other rival membership schemes, AliExpress Elite is free of charge and will apply to customers who have spent more than approximately £600 and placed five or more orders in the past year.
Eligible members who qualify will see their membership directly in the AliExpress app, along with exclusive Elite pricing on a wide variety of products.
Elite member benefits include:
  • Extra discount: members enjoy an additional 5% discount on millions of products marked with the distinctive “Elite” label. This includes items across the Brand+, Choice and Local+ range.
  • Bigger savings on Elite Day: The first day of every month is Elite Day on AliExpress. Members enjoy a higher 8% discount on eligible products.
  • Simplified free returns: Members can return eligible products within 15 days of delivery, with no additional evidence required**, for a hassle-free returns experience.
Commenting on the launch, Eric Zhang, Vice President of AliExpress, said: “Elite is our way of thanking the shoppers who choose AliExpress time and again. We want membership to offer practical value that customers can use as they shop, so we’ve made it free to join and focused the benefits on savings and convenience. Members can get extra savings on millions of eligible products, access bigger discounts on Elite Day and enjoy simpler returns.
“As we head into 11.11, eligible members will have another opportunity to save: on eligible products, they can combine their Elite discount with sale prices. We’ll continue looking for ways to make shopping on AliExpress more rewarding for the people who keep coming back.”
Warm up to 11.11 Global Shopping Festival
The Elite launch is coming as AliExpress prepares for its annual 11.11 Global Shopping Festival, running from 1-18 November, the platform’s biggest shopping event. Elite members will be able to stack their membership discount on top of 11.11 sale prices across ranges including Brand+, giving them enhanced savings to help them make their money go even further this 11.11.
Commitment to customer value
The Elite membership marks a significant milestone in AliExpress’s evolution as a destination for customers seeking value, quality products, convenience and excellent service. By offering upgraded benefits and a distinctive premium experience through a free membership programme, AliExpress is investing in long-term customer loyalty, rewarding the shoppers who have been loyal to the shopping platform by delivering tangible value that goes beyond price alone.
Elite membership is available now to all eligible consumers via the AliExpress app.
