Asda Asda has announced the launch of its new and first-to-market giant The Bakery at Asda Caramelised Biscuit Cake (£10.98), available now in stores and online.

The massive treat may look like a familiar biscuit, but inside is a deliciously layered cake, with sweet, fluffy sponge, caramelised biscuit frosting and caramel sauce. Decorated with craft and made to look like one giant biscuit, this ultimate sweet treat cannot be missed in the aisles, and is set to be a crowd pleaser amongst kids and adults alike.

Asda customers will no longer need to DIY their own ‘Biscoff style’ cakes by purchasing several ingredients, as Asda’s own-brand creation combines all the goodness in one (piece), and is ready to serve and enjoy. The Caramelised Biscuit Cake offers a statement of a birthday cake, is ideal for dishing out at parties, or enjoying alongside a hot brew, as it serves 18 for just 61p per serving.

Driven by the trending caramelised biscuit flavour profile inspired by popular Lotus Biscoff, the taste offers customers a touch of nostalgia, comfort and a pinch of luxury with its subtle spiciness and brown sugar sweetness. Rising in popularity across restaurant menus and in cooking recipes on social media, the viral sensation is often used as a filling or decoration on desserts and baked goods*.

Revealing that the Biscoff Croissant is the top selling product in its bakery range, and that customers are already obsessing over the 5-star* rated Asda Smooth Caramelised Biscuit Spread, Asda predicts that shoppers will love the new product, as searches for ‘caramelised biscuit’ on Asda.com have continued to spike in 2025, rising by 76.2%* due to the popularity of the Biscoff flavour in recent years.

The Bakery at Asda Caramelised Biscuit Cake (£10.98) is available now, in stores and online.
