Award-winning antiperspirant deodorant Make Waves secures nationwide Boots rollout as demand for refillable beauty grows

British deodorant brand Make Waves is bringing its award-winning refillable antiperspirant to the high street, launching in 385 Boots stores across the UK and Boots.com from 4th August 2026, marking the brand’s biggest retail expansion to date.

The launch follows Make Waves’ success as a winner of the Boots Breakout Beauty UK accelerator programme recognising the brand as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging beauty businesses and supporting its journey into national retail.

The expansion follows rapid growth for the UK brand, which has built a loyal customer following thanks to its combination of high-performance sweat protection, skin-conscious ingredients, and sustainability credentials.

The Boots launch comes as Make Waves’ direct-to-consumer business has grown by more than 500% over the past 12 months, reflecting growing demand for refillable personal care products that don’t compromise on performance, design or the user experience.

Made in the UK, Make Waves features a reusable applicator crafted from recycled plastic and fully recycled and recyclable refill capsules, helping eliminate the need for hundreds of disposable deodorants over its lifetime. Designed with a refined, minimalist aesthetic, the reusable applicator is intended to be proudly displayed rather than hidden away, bringing a premium, design-led touch to the bathroom shelf while proving that sustainable packaging can be every bit as beautiful as it is functional.

Shoppers will be able to choose from some of Make Waves’ bestselling fragrances, including Bergamot & Amber, Jasmine & Rose, Raspberry & Rhubarb and Coconut & Vanilla, all designed to be easily swapped using the brand’s innovative click-in refill system, designed by ex-Dyson engineers.

The vegan, cruelty-free and dermatologically tested formula is enriched with shea butter and vitamins C & E, while being free from alcohol, parabens and phthalates.

Make Waves is the highest-rated refillable antiperspirant on Trustpilot (4.9★ average), winner of the Breakout Beauty UK Awards 2025, and recipient of Marie Claire’s Sustainability Award 2024.

Oliver Batiste & Owen Machon, founders of Make Waves, said: “Launching in 385 Boots stores marks a defining moment for Make Waves. From the beginning, our vision has been to create uncompromising antiperspirants that combine exceptional performance with skin-conscious formulations and a more considered approach to sustainability. This partnership brings our British-made collection to a wider audience, inviting more consumers to experience beautifully crafted daily essentials that deliver lasting efficacy while dramatically reducing waste.”
