Leading Irish chocolatier, Lir Chocolates, is expanding its Baileys Chocolate range, introducing its latest creation, the Baileys Chocolate Nut Mix, just in time for Christmas. The Baileys Chocolate Nut mix combines roasted almonds coated in Baileys Chocolate with an indulgent mix of caramelised hazelnuts, cashews, almonds and peanuts, with a hint of Baileys, and crunchy salted caramel popcorn, available from Tesco RRP £3.50.

Baileys Chocolate is bringing a new unique flavour mix to the nut category. This indulgent treat from Baileys Chocolate supports the demand for the category during the festive period, with data showing that there is usually a 35% uplift in sales of nuts in the 12-week run-up to Christmas. The premium Chocolate Nut Mix comes in a recyclable and resealable doy bag as Baileys Chocolate continues its journey towards reducing plastic in its packaging and providing more sustainable products for consumers to shop. The mix offers shoppers an affordable treat when they are willing to spend more during the festive period.

Alison Robson, Baileys Chocolate’s marketing danager, said: “We are proud to launch the Baileys Chocolate Nut Mix ahead of the festive period. Baileys is synonymous with Christmas and is a popular adult treat at that time of year. We have seen indulgent nut mixes increase in popularity at Christmas and adding a touch of Baileys to the mix will attract new shoppers and give loyal fans an exciting new way to enjoy the indulgence of Baileys chocolate.”

Also, in the Baileys Christmas collection this year is the newly updated Christmas Tree Tin RRP £10, filled with Baileys Original Chocolate Truffles. The quality printed tin has great shelf stand-out and is the perfect gift for consumers to share at Christmas. The reusable tin makes a lasting brand impression on buyers and supports Baileys move to more sustainable packaging. Shoppers will also be able to buy the Baileys Christmas Tree Carton RRP £5, filled with Baileys Original Truffles. The bright design and Christmas tree window offers shoppers the perfect token gift for the festive period.

Baileys Chocolates Christmas gifting range also includes the Baileys Chocolate Collection 227g, which contains a selection of milk dark and white chocolates with a hint of Baileys, featuring the Strawberries and Cream in white chocolate and Salted Caramel hearts, RRP £10. This is alongside the 190g Chocolate Collection box RRP £6, the Giftwrap Chocolate box 272g RRP £8, Chocolate Bombe 3 pack RRP £6, and the updated Baileys Chocolate Collection 135g, presenting branded chocolates in milk, dark and white chocolate with Baileys Irish Cream truffle centre and Salted Caramel Hearts, RRP £5. Also included this year is the 320g Baileys Chocolate Truffle Tubes, RRP £13, and the 205g Truffle Cartons, RRP £5, both available with the Original Truffles or Salted Caramel Truffles.

The range features new impactful pack designs to reflect Baileys master brand and give a more contemporary feel.
