Remedy enters better-for-you soda category with the launch of Sodaly

RemedyLeading better-for-you soft drink brand Remedy can today announce the UK launch of Remedy Sodaly; its first entry into the soda category. The new all-natural, no-sugar range delivers full flavour with no compromise and marks a significant expansion of Remedy’s UK portfolio.
This launch reflects Remedy’s ambition to expand beyond kombucha and bring healthier, flavour-forward beverages to a wider audience than ever before. Continuing to shake up soft drinks, Remedy’s exciting new range is set to hit retailers initially including Ocado (available now), Holland & Barrett, and Amazon, rolling out over the coming weeks.
Remedy Sodaly is a super delicious, better-for-you soft drink with an unrivalled taste – without any sugar or artificial ingredients. It’s made with a base of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), which provides gut-friendly prebiotics that aid digestion and delivers additional benefits such as supporting immunity and promoting healthier skin.
Cutting sugar is now the number one health priority for UK shoppers, according to a recent Remedy survey. Almost two thirds (60.2%) of respondents said that reducing sugar is their top wellness goal, with the majority overwhelmingly seeking low or no-sugar options – making Sodaly perfectly aligned with the desires of health-conscious consumers.
Already the fastest-growing functional drink in the ANZ market, Remedy Sodaly is growing at 82% vs. LY over LQTR[3]and is driving significant category growth, with 71% of its sales being incremental to kombucha. This means that the majority of Sodaly purchases are not replacing Kombucha sales, but rather attracting new customers or expanding consumption occasions, making it a powerful addition to the better-for-you beverage space.
“The launch of Sodaly marks an exciting chapter for Remedy and for the UK better-for-you drinks sector,” says Ian Hadley, UK commercial director at Remedy Drinks UK & EU. “We’ve already proven that consumers are hungry for healthier soft drinks that don’t compromise on taste, with cutting sugar now a top priority for UK shoppers. Remedy Kombucha is the UK’s best-selling kombucha, more than double the size of its nearest competitor, and that success gives us real confidence as we expand into soda.
“Functional drinks have seen rapid growth over the past five years, with the UK kombucha grocery category now worth more than £42 million and growing at almost 30% year-on-year. That momentum reflects a clear shift towards drinks that deliver on health, flavour and enjoyment.
“That’s exactly what we’re bringing to market with Remedy Sodaly: An Apple Cider Vinegar-based soda with no sugar or artificial ingredients, but with full-on flavour. Sodaly allows us to expand beyond kombucha while staying true to Remedy’s core philosophy, and we’re confident it will resonate just as strongly with UK shoppers.”
Remedy Sodaly launches initially in four fruit-forward flavours – Pineapple, Raspberry, Yuzu Lemon, and Watermelon – following strong consumer uptake in ANZ markets.
With a proven track record as the UK’s best-selling kombucha brand and a growing portfolio that spans multiple better-for-you soft drink occasions, Remedy is firmly established as a leading force in the health-led drinks space. The launch of Sodaly marks a strategic next step in that journey, reinforcing Remedy’s ambition to drive category growth, bring new consumers into better-for-you soft drinks, and continue setting the standard for taste-led innovation without compromise.
Remedy Sodaly is available at Ocado now. It will launch into wider retailers including Holland & Barrett and Amazon over the coming weeks, as well as online at Remedydrinks.co.uk.
