BookerBooker, the UK’s leading food and drink wholesaler, has announced the launch of its new-look website and app to deliver a faster, smarter digital experience for its customers, suppliers and colleagues.

Live from today, the platforms are supported by new eye-catching corporate branding and a refreshed look and feel. Designed with busy businesses in mind, they feature effortless navigation and new high-resolution photography, making shopping and discovering new products easier and more enjoyable than ever.

Customers from the retail and catering sectors can access features that enhance their online browsing and shopping experience, such as visual shopping lists, personalised homepages tailored to their fascia or sector and product recommendations for pairing suggestions that complement chosen items. The website also offers smarter ordering tools, enhanced search functionality and improved print layouts for lists and favourites.

Booker’s new insights and inspiration hub provides fresh ideas and practical resources to help businesses stand out, boost footfall, and innovate with confidence. From must-stock retail lines to trending catering ingredients, exclusive content is accessible to all, regardless of whether you are a Booker customer.

The enhanced checkout experience means customers will now see product images appear on their shopping list during checkout for added clarity, combined with one-click add-to-basket functionality. With quick access to delivery details, customers can place orders with speed and confidence on desktop and mobile.

Suppliers will gain greater brand visibility and clearer value communication, supported by new media and advertising opportunities that connect with customers at every stage of the buying journey. For Booker’s colleagues, the updated platform and improved product discovery tools provide a simpler, more intuitive way to support customers and unlock new opportunities.

Richard Lamb, group technology director at Booker, said: “We’re thrilled to unveil the first stage of our brand new digital experience across our website and the Booker app – a fresh, modern experience that showcases the very best of Booker. We’ve created an intuitive, seamless experience covering the entire customer journey – from browsing to checkout, with personalised features and an improved shopping journey, we’re making it easier than ever for businesses to grow with us.”

From our extensive, high-quality product ranges to the brilliant value and services we offer, it’s designed to inspire our customers and help them thrive.”

Customers can visit the same URL, www.booker.co.uk, and log in using their existing password and customer number. All saved trollies and favourites will also remain intact, ensuring a smooth transition.

This marks the first phase of Booker’s digital transformation, with plans to roll out additional features and functionality in the coming weeks and months.
