Boots and Deliveroo are saving your summer trips by delivering those forgotten essentials to UK hotspots

Boots and DeliverooBoots, the UK’s leading health, wellness and beauty retailer, has teamed up with packing guru and holiday expert Chelsea Dickinson to offer shoppable bundles, curated product lists, and smart packing tips. With everything you need for your summer shop under one roof, Boots makes it easier than ever to shop smarter, faster, and more affordably this summer.

With summer plans in full swing – 69%[1] of Brits are considering a beach getaway, 67% are thinking about gearing up for a hike or walk, and almost a third (32%) are contemplating heading to a festival – preparation is key. Yet, while 76% say a packing list would be helpful, only 28% make one every time.

On a mission to help the nation prepare for their summer plans, Boots and Chelsea Dickenson have curated, ready-to-go bundles on boots.com containing all the essentials for festivals, beach trips, and adventures; so customers can get the crucial items they need in just one click. The three bundles are £20 each, consisting of five to seven products and with savings of over £10.

For those still unsure what they need to pack for a summer trip, Boots has introduced three new packing lister pages on boots.com, providing inspiration on all the necessary (and most forgotten) items for beachgoers, festival-lovers and adventure-seekers.

Holiday Expert, Chelsea Dickenson said: “Packing shouldn’t be stressful – it should be part of the excitement of going away! However, so many people forget the basics, which can really throw off the start of a trip. My top tips? Always lay everything out before it goes in your bag, group items by category, and decant your toiletries into travel-sized bottles to save space. And don’t forget to create an outfit plan, use compression cubes or vac bags to slim your clothing down and roll any extras into the crevices of your bag and suitcases. Make the most of the space!”

“The new summer bundles and online packing lists at Boots make it easier than ever to feel prepared, stay organised, and enjoy every moment of your holiday. And if you do forget something, Boots items via Deliveroo are just a click away with delivery in as little as 20 minutes!”

Over half of Brits (53%) admit they’ve forgotten something on a beach trip, 41% say the same for hiking or adventurous days out, and 1 in 5 (21%) have turned up to festivals without something important. Across all types of trips, sunscreen consistently tops the list of forgotten items – an essential many Brits overlook until it’s too late. For beachgoers, the most commonly left-behind products also include sunglasses, insect bite cream, aftersun and insect repellent. For more active getaways like hikes and walks, blister plasters, insect repellent, and bite cream are high on the list of forgotten essentials. And at festivals, sunglasses, ear plugs and pain relief often don’t make it into the bag.

For those moments when something slips the mind, Boots partnership with Deliveroo may come in handy with health and beauty essentials at your fingertips wherever you are this summer*, not just to your front door. Holiday-goers across the UK can choose from over 750 products which will be available for delivery in as little as 20 minutes, just a stone’s throw from the starting points of over 50 walking routes including Arthur’s Seat, and close to more than 20 popular beaches including Joss Bay, whilst music fans making their way to select day music festivals can place orders nearby too.

From beauty to healthcare solutions, shoppers can pick 1000s of summer saviours and save up to half price on thousands of products at Boots. With over 1,800 stores across the country, customers can visit their local Boots and shop all essential summer items under one roof, or order essential products online on Deliveroo, boots.com or the Boots app, with next day delivery and Click & Collect available.
