Brockmans, the leading UK independent Super Premium Gin, has announced that it has been certified as a B CorporationTM (B CorpTM). This achievement underscores Brockmans’ steadfast dedication to sustainability and social responsibility, principles deeply embedded in their ethos since the business was founded in 2006.
Brockmans has been certified carbon neutral since 2020 and continuously monitor the environmental impact, assessing ways to reduce their business footprint – B CorpTM is a natural step in Brockmans’ sustainability journey.
“It’s not just about making fantastic gin; it’s about doing it in a way that’s good for both the planet and people” says Brockmans Founder, Neil Everitt. “The B CorpTM values also form the bedrock of Brockmans’ Properly Improper philosophy, influencing every aspect of our brand and our belief in doing things properly: Acting with integrity, authenticity, and excellence. We recognise our duty to shape a brighter future, not only for the next generation but also for our team, suppliers, customers, shareholders, and the wider community as well”.
The B CorpTM verification process measures a company’s social and environmental performance. To become a Certified B CorporationTM, companies undergo a rigorous review of the impact of their operations and business model on their workers, customers, communities, and environment, and must meet a minimum verified score on the B Impact Assessment.
“This is just the beginning of our B CorpTM adventure. We’re committed to keeping up the good work, raising the bar even higher, and making sure every sip of Brockmans comes with a sprinkle of sustainability and a dash of positive impact!” – Neil Everitt, Founder.
