Charles Tyrwhitt continues its UK retail expansion with the opening of a new store at Lakeside Shopping Centre on Friday 27th June.

The opening of the Lakeside store forms part of the brand’s wider retail strategy to make it easier than ever for men to dress well. With several new UK store openings planned in the coming months, this latest addition reinforces the brand’s commitment to meeting customers where they are; offering greater accessibility, personal service and an elevated in-store experience. Following the success of the Chelmsford opening in 2023, the launch of Lakeside marks a natural next step in expanding the brand’s presence across Essex, providing customers in the region with more choice and convenience than ever before.

The new 1,200sq ft store will offer the brand’s signature blend of quality craftsmanship, timeless menswear and exceptional service. Shoppers can expect a curated range of formal tailoring, smart-casual staples, knitwear accessories and several in-store services, including complimentary measuring service, one-to-one styling appointments and click-and-collect, all backed by Charles Tyrwhitt’s 6-month guarantee.

While the store will open its doors without a formal launch event, Charles Tyrwhitt is planning a special in-store celebration later this autumn, so customers are asked to keep their eyes peeled for the announcement.

With 40 stores now open across the UK and 53 globally, Charles Tyrwhitt continues to evolve its omnichannel offering, pairing the convenience of line with an elevated in-store experience designed around customer needs.

Lewis Felix, retail director, comments: “Our exciting new store opening in Lakeside, marks a significant milestone as the 40th store in our UK Estate. It allows us to build on our recent retail momentum, whilst bringing our brand and product proposition to the county of Essex, once again; having opened in Chelmsford in 2022. Lakeside is a key retail hub, and this store plays an important role in our wider expansion plans across the UK, helping us connect with even more customers looking for quality, fit and style.”

You can find the store entrance in Unit 235 Lakeside Shopping Centre Thurrock, RM20 2ZQ
