The new store officially opens its doors on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, marking an exciting new chapter for the brand’s growing UK retail footprint, bringing the total number of stores in the UK to 44 and 59 globally (excluding third-party stockists).
This opening marks a strategic milestone for the brand. With a strong existing customer base in Cardiff, Charles Tyrwhitt’s decision to open in the city allows shoppers to experience the brand in person for the first time. The new store will build on this loyal following by offering a more complete brand experience, while also welcoming first time customers to discover what makes Tyrwhitt truly timeless.
Spanning 2,676 sq ft gross (2,020sq ft trading), the new Cardiff store has been designed to reflect Charles Tyrwhitt’s commitment to “Making it Easy for Men to Dress Well.” Situated on the ground floor of St David’s, in one of the centre’s highest footfall areas, the store combines timeless design with an inviting and elevated shopping experience.
The store features enhanced spaces for customers to relax and explore, encouraging customers to take their time while exploring the collections. It also includes Charles Tyrwhitt’s first dedicated appointment space outside of London, offering shoppers a more personalised experience. Guests can enjoy refreshments while receiving one-to-one styling advice or fit consultations, creating a truly bespoke shopping journey.
