The UK’s children’s palliative care charity Together for Short Lives in partnership with Morrisons have won the Short-Term Partnership Award at the Third Sector Business Charity Awards. This recognition celebrates the transformational impact the charity has achieved with Morrisons in under three years.
Since the partnership began, we’ve raised almost £9 million and aim to exceed £10 million by October 2024. Together, the duo are raising vital funds for children’s hospices across the country, helping families make precious memories, and reaching even more families caring for a seriously ill child.
This success is thanks to the dedication of Morrisons colleagues, and the generosity of customers and suppliers. We are proud that our efforts have been recognised by the Third Sector Business Charity Awards.
Together for Short Lives’ director of fundraising, Nick Carroll says: “This is an exceptionally proud moment for us, it is fantastic that Morrisons colleagues and our children’s hospice partners are getting recognition for the hard work they have put into making this partnership so successful.”
Morrisons’ corporate affairs director, David Scott, says: “We are proud of our partnership with Together for Short Lives. Winning this award highlights the profound impact we’ve made together, supporting children’s hospices and the families who need them most.”
