ChipotleFollowing its viral US launch last month, Chipotle has landed its highly anticipated High Protein menu into the UK. Directly responding to a significant and rapidly accelerating consumer trend in the UK towards increased protein intake, from 13th January, the new menu will offer guests more convenient and delicious ways to meet their nutritional goals.

The new menu launch follows research stating that nearly half of UK adults boosted their protein intake last year; a figure that surged to two-thirds among 16 to 34-year-olds. With the rise of a broader societal focus on macronutrients for overall wellness, Chipotle’s new menu is perfectly positioned to cater to the ever-growing “protein movement.”

Ranging from 15 to an impressive 81 grams of protein per item, the new menu is designed to help guests achieve their protein targets effortlessly. It introduces additions such as the new High Protein Cup and offers mains such as the Double High Protein Bowl, with individual items starting from under £3*.

  • High Protein Cup With Adobo Chicken – Available in-restaurant and digitally (32g Protein, 180 Calories) – A 110g side of succulent Adobo Chicken
  • High Protein Cup With Steak – Available in-restaurant and digitally (21g Protein, 150 Calories) – A 100g side of tender Steak
  • Adobo Chicken Taco – Available in-restaurant and digitally (15g Protein, 190 Calories) – A soft flour tortilla, Adobo Chicken, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, Monterey Jack cheese and romaine lettuce
  • Double High Protein Bowl (81g Protein, 11g Fibre, 760 Calories) – A power-packed burrito bowl featuring double Adobo Chicken, light white rice, black beans, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, Monterey Jack cheese and extra romaine lettuce
  • Double Protein Burrito (79g Protein, 6g Fibre, 840 Calories) – A hearty burrito featuring double Adobo Chicken, fresh tomato salsa, fajita veggies, Monterey Jack cheese and romaine lettuce.

“Since opening in the UK, our guests have used Chipotle’s build-your-own menu to create high-protein meals that fit their lifestyle,” said Anat Davidzon, managing director, international. “Our new curated High Protein Menu makes it even easier, with fresh, responsibly sourced ingredients and flexible portions to help meet protein and other dietary goals.”

From 13th January, guests in the UK can order the High Protein Cup and Single Chicken Taco in-restaurant. The full High Protein menu will be available digitally via Chipotle’s marketplace partners. Prices start at £2.95 for a Single Chicken Taco and £3.65 for a High Protein Cup of Adobo Chicken at select restaurants.*
