Fast-growing, QSR brand, Chopstix, has announced its latest store opening in Manchester, in the heart of the city centre on Oxford Street.
This latest store will mark the fourth site in the bustling city centre and the next step in a busy period of expansion for Chopstix in the North and North-West having opened other stores in Preston, Doncaster, York and Leeds in the last 6 months alone.
The store will create 30 jobs for locals and 50 covers to accommodate seated customers as well as takeaway and delivery. The store will boast the brand’s latest store design, featuring striking new visuals and updated in-store offerings such as self-order kiosks.
Gareth Brannigan, head of new store openings, said: “Manchester is a fantastic city for us to be in, and we have seen strong success from our existing stores in the Trafford Centre, Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Arndale. Cities like this, especially those which have such a high student population, offer a significant opportunity for growth for us.”
With over 140 stores, the Chopstix Group has seen rapid growth over the past 12 months, in the UK and now France, having launched its debut site on the continent earlier this year.
Chopstix was established in Camden Market in 2002 by entrepreneurs Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik, who remain involved with the business on a day-to-day basis. The Chopstix Group has undergone a busy period of brand development and expansion as Chopstix sets its sights on becoming the largest Asian QSR company on the continent.
