Lesley Abbeycentre Clearhill, a leading one-source supplier of innovative leisure and retail service solutions, announced the expansion of its long-standing partnership with the newly acquired Lesley Abbeycentre, Newtownabbey.
The strategic partnership makes Clearhill the exclusive amenity provider and has already driven a 30% increase in non-traditional revenue for the centre by enhancing the visitor experience.
Having partnered with the centre for over 20 years, Clearhill has further solidified its position as the sole provider for the 320,000sq ft shopping destination. This move underscores the new owners – The Herbert Group’s – commitment to significantly improving the customer experience following their recent acquisition.
Mark Stewart, centre manager, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to partner with Clearhill. This strategic move has already delivered on our commitment to radically improve the customer experience by introducing multi-sensory solutions such as massage chairs. Crucially, the partnership is already a commercial success, helping us to increase our non-traditional revenue by 30% in a very short time.”
The new, enhanced agreement sees Clearhill implement and manage key retailtainment products and services across the centre, including:
·      Luxury, ergonomic massage chairs, deployed under their Fun Wellness brand, to provide shoppers with a moment of relaxation.
·      A diverse selection of vending and leisure products, including high-quality photo booths, to enhance the mall environment via the FunHub brand.
Brian McAreavey, director of Clearhill, commented: “This collaboration is a testament to The Herbert Group’s commitment to placing customer wellness and engagement at the heart of their investment strategy.
“Our integrated, one-source supply and service model means Lesley Abbeycentre can provide modern, high-quality amenities without the operational complexity. We look forward to continuing to deliver measurable value and an excellent experience for every visitor.”
The Herbert Group recently acquired the centre as part of its expanding portfolio of high-performing Northern Ireland retail assets. Lesley Abbeycentre, located just six miles from Belfast city centre, is currently home to over 70 popular retailers, including Next, Primark, and Dunnes Stores.
By selecting Clearhill, Lesley Abbeycentre ensures that its public spaces are managed by a partner known for staying close to shopper needs, driving shopper dwell time, and improving customer satisfaction through seamless, state-of-the-art amenity provision.
