Clipper expands soaring natural infusions range with new flavour

Clipper Clipper Teas, the ethical tea brand owned by Ecotone UK, is expanding its successful natural and organic infusions range with a fresh flavour combination.

New on shelf for autumn, Clipper debuts Chamomile, Lemon and Honey in a 40-teabags pack. The blend features zingy lemon, soothing honey, and comforting chamomile resulting in a mellow, mindful tea that aims to rebalance and soothe tea drinkers.

In line with the brand’s wider infusions portfolio, Clipper Chamomile, Lemon and Honey is crafted with high-quality organic ingredients.

Joining Clipper’s top-selling infusions, Sleep Time, Ginger & Turmeric and Peppermint & Spearmint, the new flavour is now available in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide (£3.40 RRP).

Clipper is the fastest-growing brand in Infusions with value sales at 31% and volume sales at 13%1 – outperforming the total segment and driven by distribution gains across all major multiples.

The infusions segment has been key in attracting new, younger shoppers into the category, showing steady growth at 3.5%2. While functionality has been a key purchase driver within infusions, 70%3 of purchases within the segment are in herbal and fruit flavours, of which Chamomile is a top flavour – making up 16.4% of sales.

Caroline Rose, Clipper Teas brand controller, said: ”We’re delighted to bolster our natural infusions range with Chamomile, Lemon and Honey. We’ve taken a popular flavour in chamomile and broadened its appeal to younger consumers with the addition of lemon and honey for even more great taste. We’re giving our conscious shoppers the flavour they love coupled with the wellness benefits they need.

“For the last two years, we’ve been investing in our Infusions range through new products, a packaging revamp and accessible pricing. And we’re not stopping there. We’ve got plans for even more need-state based products and trend-led ingredients in 2026.”

The launch comes at a poignant time for organic sourcing, and especially within tea as 21,000 more shoppers purchased sustainable tea in Waitrose alone this year4.

Natural, fair and delicious, Clipper continues to advocate for organic tea sourcing to protect and encourage biodiversity through all-natural tea grown without synthetic chemicals or harmful pesticides.
