Co-op has launched a new look Freezer Favourite deal

Co-op has launched a new look Freezer Favourite deal featuring over 60 different products, including many of the UK’s top frozen brands. With such variety and flexibility, the offer means shoppers have the opportunity to basket their favourite freezer items through personal choice, making the deal a perfect option for those who have different preferences or needs.

Priced at £6.00 for Co-op Members (£7.00 Non-Members), the deal allows shoppers to mix and match any three items from the retailer’s biggest ever selection of frozen products and brands – offering up 49,000 different combinations.

The new money-saving bundle can save shoppers up to £5.10 (£4.10 Non-Members) and is the perfect way to fill the freezer with quick-and-easy, mid-meek meals, top up staples and family weekend feasts – from tasty mains and sides to classic frozen treats.

For the first time, the frozen deal will be offered in all 2,300 Co-op stores across the UK and online, giving more customers access to a wider selection of products from well-loved brands* like Birds Eye, McCain, Goodfellas, Itsu, Rowntrees, Quorn, Vegetarian Butcher, Linda McCartney, and Gym Kitchen.

John Battersby, senior buying manager at Co-op, revealed: “Our shoppers know that by stocking their freezer cleverly, they can make meal planning easier and help manage the household budget.  Our Freezer Favourites deal is one of our most popular ongoing promotions and making this change to give consumers so much more choice, will mean we can offer them unbelievable value on a huge selection of products, so they can make the deal bespoke to their individual needs”

Examples of meals that can be created by shopping this new deal include:

A pizza night:

  • Dr Oetker Ristorante Mozzarella Cheese Pizza 335g 335G
  • Mccain Lightly Spiced Potato Wedges 650G
  • Rowntrees Mango Stick 4X70ML

A veggie feast:

  • The Vegetarian Butcher Happy Go Clucky Burger 180G
  • Co-op Irresistible Chunky British Maris Piper Chips 750G
  • Birds Eye Petit Pois 545G

A post-work dinner:

  • Gym Kitchen Beef Lasagne 400G
  • Goodfella’s Garlic Bread 327g
  • Del Monte 100% Juice Orange Ice Lollies 3X75ML

An Asian Fakeaway:

  • Itsu Soup Dumplings
  • Itsu Vegetable Tempura Fries 350G
  • Co-op 10 Tempura Prawns 130G

Moreover, Co-op Members and customers can add a touch of luxury to their dining at home experience and upgrade their nights in with Co-op’s news Irresistible Dine in Deal – saving up to £12.60 (non-members save £10.60).

The delicious deal costs £10 (£12 for non-members) and includes a choice of two mains and one side from Co-op’s premium Irresistible range, with the option of an Irresistible wine or soft drink to complete the offer **.

An example of how Members and customers can save up to £12.60:

Mains: Irresistible Lasagne Al Forno 400g £5.35 + Irresistible Lamb Moussaka 400g £5.35.

Side: Irresistible Triple Cooked Chunky Chips 360g £3.25.

Drink: Irresistible Sauvignon Blanc 75cl £8.65.
