Co-op ‘serves up’ new dine in deal for two

Co-opCo-op unveils a new ‘meal for two’ deal, with the launch of Served, offering members a choice of a delicious main course and two tasty sides for £7 – which works out at just £3.50 per person, making it one of the best value and quality deals of this kind on the market.

Launching in stores on September 17, 2025, Served will re-write the rules of ‘meals for two’ deals with a range packed full of flavoursome slow-cooked or ready-to-cook products – in contrast with traditional ready-meal focused deal options – that offers delicious meals at home ready to tuck into in 30 minutes.

With many Brits struggling with decision fatigue when it comes to at home dining, Served has been designed to take the hassle out of dinner time decisions – for launch, all dishes are all Italian themed and carefully selected to work well with each other.

Served is the only ‘meal for two’ deal of its kind which focuses solely on one cuisine for a set period, which will then rotate to new menus throughout the year, providing a fresh set of fuss-free monthly dinner options for busy shoppers. Using high-quality ingredients and produce, including using only 100% British meat, Served offers a delicious selection of six mains and 11 sides to choose from, totalling to 330 meal combinations to mix and match with.

Diners can choose from highlights such as a Chicken Parmigiana, with two succulent British Chicken breasts topped with marinara sauce, herby breadcrumbs, Cheddar and mozzarella cheese melt or a Slow Cooked Beef Ragu with tender pieces of British beef chuck slow cooked for 10 hours in a rich tomato sauce, infused with red wine garlic and Italian herbs.

Nicole Tallant, director of Co-op own brand, said: “We’re very excited to unveil a new meal range which provides amazing quality and incredible value for our customers. We know people crave delicious meals without the faff of cooking all evening or the costs of eating out, so we’ve created a range that ticks all those boxes. What I love about these dishes is that they are a breeze to prepare, great portion sizes, absolutely delicious and ready to tuck into in under 30 minutes – no more dinner decision dilemmas!

With a store in every postal code area and deliveries in as little as 20 minutes through Co-op Delivery, Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat, shoppers can simply pop to their local Co-op or order online and enjoy a delicious, fuss free meal for two, ‘served’ that very same evening.

The deal is also available to non-members for £8 and will be available nationwide in stores and online from 17th September until 29th October in the retailer’s new own label range.
