- Retailer NewsLong gone are the days of queuing and faffing about at DIY stores as COAT Paints have launched an industry first, same day and one hour delivery slots (depending on your location).

The new service is a real game-changer for those time-strapped weekend decorators who want to get on with their projects.

Alongside COAT’s own iconic colour palette, customers can also choose any colour you want from any paint brand and COAT will match the colour, mixing it fresh, using its 100% Low-VOC, water-based premium paint formula with its zero waste, made to order production.

B-Corp Certified, Climate Positive brand COAT Paints has disrupted the outdated paint industry with its anti-greenwashing stance since its launch in 2020. And an army of home reno fans agree with its sustainable paint approach and timeless colours, as sales have grown by 150% year-on-year.

Partnering with eco-friendly delivery company bodo, the new delivery service applies to London only, but bodo and COAT will continue their expansion plans into other major cities across the UK.

Bodo was set up by ex-Deliveroo executive Jack Green and former Cloudkitchen executive Brandon Neman.  Its on and off-road sustainable delivery includes an electric delivery fleet and a solar powered storage facility. Positioned as the ‘Amazon Prime of DTC brands’, their eco approach, flexibility, convenience, and rapid turnaround to meet the needs of today’s customer is what makes them partners in a shared mission.

Rob Green, co-founder of COAT Paints, said: “We’ve been changing the game with paint to meet the needs of the modern customer and now with our partnership with bodo we can go a step further with same day and in some cases one hour delivery to offer the ultimate in customer service in every sense. Bodo and COAT are businesses with a shared mission to put the customer first and with true sustainability at the heart of what we do”.

“We are always putting ourselves in the shoes of our customers. We know that life demands immediacy and people don’t want to wait to create their perfect paint scheme. Now, rather than having to choose between a sustainable paint or the colour they want from the likes of Farrow and Ball, the only question they need to consider is what colour they want, and we do the rest”.

Jack Green, co-fretounder of bodo said “Any colour you could possibly create, delivered in under 1 hour. It’s literally renovation heaven. We’re thrilled to be working with COAT Paints to deliver this transformative new offering for their customers. We love working with brands that share our commitment to sustainability and look forward to delivering products to customers in an instant and environment-friendly way.”
