Costa Coffee, the Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop, is bringing in the new year with an exciting new flavourful menu. Introducing a range of innovative and delicious food and drink products that will make the Winter months warmer and your taste buds more joyful. Launching in Costa Coffee stores nationwide on the 4th of January, what scrumptious item will you start 2024 with?

Costa Coffee heats things up with new indulgent Hot Milkshakes

Believe in the unbelievable – Costa Coffee launches a ground-breaking range of new indulgent Hot Milkshakes* (yes, hot!). Available in three mouth-watering flavours; White Chocolate and Strawberry, Salted Caramel Coffee, and Chocolate Hazel, all are unbelievably good. Imagine sipping on a hot, thick milkshake through a straw which is designed to tantalise your senses and provide an unforgettable experience.

These game-changing Hot Milkshakes are topped with tasty Light Whip, and depending on what flavour opted for, a choice of yummy sprinkles, sweet caramel vermicelli, or mouth-watering chocolate brownie crumbs. Whether it is a mid-day delight or your afternoon escape, customers are in for a treat with these utterly intriguing new Hot Milkshakes.

Signature coffee’s – personalised

Costa Coffee continues to excel in crafting quality coffee to suit everyone – with all handcrafted drinks having the option to be customised (or Costa-mised!) to suit individual taste. Whether it’s changing to an alternative milk, removing or adding toppings, adding flavour with a syrup or sauce, or switching from whipped cream to a Light Whip, customers can craft the perfect cup of coffee just the way they like it. From a Coconut Vanilla Latte, an Oat Flat White or an Ultimate Blend Caramel Iced Latte – what is your go to?

All things plant based are on the menu with BOSH! Collaboration

The Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop is thrilled to expand its collaboration with BOSH!, the renowned plant-based culinary experts, to offer an array of products across UK stores which cater to the growing demand for plant-based options. Suitable for vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians or those who are simply looking to reduce their meat-intake, this range caters for all – or who we call ‘delish-etarians’ – offering delicious food that is suitable for everyone to enjoy.

The go-to option for delish-etarians this January could be the new Plant-Based Saucy Chicken Fajita Wrap, perfectly paired with an Oat Iced Latte, featuring a tomato tortilla wrap, filled with appetising plant-based chicken, spicy tomato and herb sauce, and roasted red peppers. Or, if you’re looking for other irresistible meat alternatives, why not opt for the Plant-Based Smokin’ BBQ Chicken Panini, filled with plant-based chicken in a smoky BBQ sauce, roasted peppers, vegan cheeze and fresh spinach in a stone baked sourdough panini.

Also joining the menu is the Plant-Based Crackin’ Ham and Cheeze Toastie, with plant-based smoky ham, cheeze and plant-based mayonnaise on white bread. Plant based lovers can upgrade their breakfast with the Plant-Based Smashin’ Sausage Bap, a lightly toasted breakfast roll with plant-based spread, filled with succulent plant-based sausages.

Making breakfast and lunch that little bit better

An ideal snack at lunchtime to pair with a creamy Cappuccino is the new Pork and Apple Sausage Roll, featuring seasoned pork sausage meat with pulled pork and Bramley apples in an all-butter puff pastry, topped with pork crackling. Alternatively, if you fancy enjoying some oaty goodness, try the new Raisin and Almond Granola Pot, which has sweet honey toasted oat clusters with raisins and almonds.

And Costa Coffee is making January sizzle with the return of customers’ favourite toasties – the ultimate comfort food for the cooler months, including the Hog Roast Toastie, Heinz Beanz and Cheese Toastie and Roast Chicken and Bacon Toastie.

Irresistible treats for all to enjoy

The exciting collaboration with BOSH! doesn’t stop at Costa Coffee’s savoury products! A range of delectable new plant-based sweet products have landed on the menu that are suitable for all delish-etarians to enjoy.

Including the new Caramelised Biscuit Rocky Road – a vegan dark chocolate and caramelised biscuit base filled with glace cherries and crisp rice, topped with even more sweet caramelised biscuit pieces, biscuit spread, vegan marshmallows and guess what, more dark chocolate! Also gracing the menu as part of the BOSH! collaboration is the new Double Chocolate Cookie, a plant-based chocolate cookie made with dark chocolate chunks, which is even more delicious when warmed.

And, making an exciting return is the beloved Chocolate and Pecan Slice, made with a tiffin base and enriched with dark chocolate and biscuit pieces – this vegan delight is finished with caramel, more dark chocolate and pecan segments. What’s more, for those on-the-go, pick up the vegan Fruity Flapjack from Costa Coffee’s impulse counter, a flavour-filled flapjack with sultanas, dried apricots and sweetened dried cranberries – which is also Gluten Free.

Sweeten up January with new and returning products

Featuring a new and improved recipe for 2024, the Lemon Drizzle Loaf Cake will leave mouths watering with its deliciously sweet lemon flavours, and why not pair it with a tasty Latte? The loaf cake includes an addition of lemon glaze and lemon oil – making it even more indulgent and delivering a zingy lemon flavour and tartness. Also, it is now finished with a lemon glaze marbled top, making it (almost) too beautiful to eat!

Or enjoy the new Banana Loaf Cake or the new Orange and Raspberry Victoria Sponge. The Banana Loaf Cake features a banana sponge, flavoured with banana puree, and topped with a sugar glaze to deliver a rich caramelised flavour. And, the Orange and Raspberry Victoria Sponge includes a vanilla sponge, filled with luscious raspberry jam and orange frosting, topped with raspberries and candied orange peel.

What’s more, there is plenty of choice for a feel-good pick-me-up with other returning delightful, sweet treats including the Chocolate & Caramel Muffin made with Rolo©***, Salted Caramel Brownie, Blueberry Muffin, Sicilian Lemon Muffin and Chocolate Cornflake Cake.

Home comforts or out and about this January

Whether you’re venturing out for some post-holiday shopping or seeking a warm cup of coffee to energise your day, make your way to one of over 13,800 Costa Express machines this January. There, you can savour a beloved crafted coffee, prepared with the same quality ingredients found in Costa Coffee stores, such as freshly ground beans and fresh milk.

Or start your morning the best way possible with Costa Coffee’s 750ml ‘The Big Latte’ ready to drink range, available in smooth and creamy ‘Latte’ and ‘Caramel Latte’ flavours. For plant-based customers, pick up the 750ml bottle in ‘Oat Latte’ – which combines the rich, aromatic flavours of Costa Coffee’s Signature Blend with creamy oats, offering a wonderful coffee experience for those who prefer an alternative to traditional dairy options.

And for those wrapping up warm at home, enjoy the taste of Costa coffee with the Barista Creations Large Mixes range, including Creamy Cappuccino and Salted Caramel flavours. Simply scoop, add hot water, stir, and enjoy a barista-inspired Costa Coffee experience at home. Or try the new Dolce Gusto one pod range – the same great taste now in one pod rather than two.

Naomi Matthews, food commercial director UK & Ireland at Costa Coffee, comments: ”Feeling the January blues? Don’t worry, Costa Coffee has got your back! Brighten your day with our amazing new January menu, featuring revolutionary Hot Milkshakes that will make you say yes, please! We’ve also teamed up with the talented BOSH! for a delicious plant-based collaboration. Come on in and let Costa Coffee kick start your new year!”
