Costa Coffee, the Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop, has returned to London Luton Airport, investing over £750,000 in the opening of a brand-new 24/7 store.

The new store, which opened yesterday (9th July 2026), will serve millions of passengers travelling through the airport each year, bringing Costa Coffee’s signature Mocha Italia taste, freshly baked pastries and warm hospitality back to one of the UK’s busiest transport hubs.

Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the store ensures travellers can enjoy their favourite coffee at any time. Located within Departures, the store showcases Costa Coffee’s latest modern look and feel, offering a bright, contemporary space – designed to meet customers evolving needs for quality, speed and convenience.

With comfortable in-store seating available, the space caters to both customers looking to relax before boarding and those on the move heading straight to their flight. To support a seamless customer experience, the store features touchscreen ordering and Click & Collect via the Costa Club app, enabling faster service.

The new store has created 21 jobs, with a talented team of baristas who are excited to serve passengers and airport teams their favourite Costa coffee.

Armend Xhema, area manager at Costa Coffee, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be bringing Costa Coffee back to London Luton Airport. With our latest modern design, digital ordering and 24/7 service, we’re ready to serve passengers and airport teams whenever they need us.”

Mark Jennings, interim director of non-aeronautical revenues at London Luton Airport, commented: “We’re thrilled to welcome Costa Coffee to London Luton Airport. Costa Coffee joins more than 40 other shops and restaurants that our passengers can enjoy at the airport and will be particularly welcome news for coffee shop connoisseurs. Whether it’s a pre-flight flat white, a mid-morning matcha or getting holiday ready with a refreshing fruit cooler, the arrival of Costa Coffee, and its ever-popular seasonal menus, will be a huge hit with our passengers. Bringing yet another high-street favourite to LLA demonstrates our commitment to offering even greater choice and underpins our simple and friendly passenger experience.”

The opening further showcases Costa Coffee’s continued investment in UK travel hubs and strengthens its presence across major airports – being the third airport store the brand has opened this year – where it brings a familiar and trusted brand to customers on the move.

Whether customers are jetting off on holiday or travelling for business, Costa Coffee at London Luton Airport is ready to provide the perfect coffee moment 24-hours a day.

What’s more, customers flying with easyJet or Jet2 from London Luton Airport can also experience Costa Coffee onboard, with a range of hot drinks available – including Latte, Salted Caramel Latte and Cappuccino, each created specifically for tasting great at 35,000 feet.
