Whilst the Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop, Costa Coffee, is synonymous with coffee expertise, the company has announced the addition of tea to its Costa Express machines nationwide. This marks a significant expansion of Costa Express’ beverage offering, reflecting its commitment to meeting consumer demand for quality tea on-the-go.

Tea is a staple of the UK’s beverage culture, enjoyed daily by millions across the country – with Costa Coffee’s latest survey finding that respondents drink on average three cups a day**. Recognising this, Costa Express has introduced perfectly brewed tea across its network of over 7,000 self-serve machines. Whether people are commuting, travelling, or simply in need of a convenient refreshment, they can now enjoy a quality cup of tea with ease.

Andrew Miller, Express and corporate sales director UK&I at Costa Coffee, commented: “We know how much our customers value a great cup of coffee, and the same goes for tea – which is an integral part of daily life in the UK. We’re thrilled to expand our offering with the addition of tea to Costa Express machines nationwide, and its inclusion in our portfolio reflects our dedication to delivering the beverages our customers want, wherever they are. Whether it’s a tea to accompany a morning commute or a break during a busy day, Costa Express is making it easier than ever for people to enjoy their favourite brew on the move.”

This roll-out represents Costa Coffee’s continued investment in innovation and consumer convenience, catering to a nation increasingly reliant on quality, quick-service options. With Costa Express machines already a popular choice for coffee drinkers, the addition of tea enhances the brand’s ability to serve a broader range of consumer preferences.

Tea will be available as an option to order at selected Costa Express machines across high streets, petrol stations, travel hubs, and other key locations, providing an accessible solution for tea lovers nationwide.
