Crocs chooses Dalton Park for first regional outlet as footwear sales continue to grow

Dalton Park has secured Crocs’ first outlet store in the North East, with the global footwear brand set to open at the destination this autumn.

The new 1,530 sq ft store will offer Crocs’ iconic clogs alongside sandals, footwear and accessories for adults and children, bringing the brand’s outlet offer to North East shoppers for the first time.

Crocs joins a footwear line-up at Dalton Park that already appeals to a wide range of shoppers, adding another globally recognised name to the destination’s fashion and lifestyle offer.

Nicky Lovell, Head of Outlets and Retail Business Development at Global Mutual commented: “Bringing the first Crocs outlet to the North East gives us an opportunity to add something genuinely different to an already well-established footwear offer at Dalton Park. Crocs has a distinctive proposition and appeals to a particularly broad customer base, so it complements the footwear brands already here rather than simply adding more of the same.

“Our focus is on giving customers more variety and more reasons to visit. Crocs does exactly that, while also giving shoppers across the region access to the brand in an outlet setting for the first time.”

The arrival of Crocs follows a series of new additions to Dalton Park’s retailer mix, including the recent openings of Belstaff and TFG London’s multi-brand Hobbs, Phase Eight and Whistles store.
