After 318 years, Fortnum & Mason has opened its first store outside of London at the luxury shopping destination, Bicester Village in Oxfordshire.
To officially open the store, Bicester Village partnered with British broadcaster, cookery writer, novelist and Great British Bake Off judge, Dame Prue Leith DBE, who is pictured alongside Bicester Village hosts, and Fortnum & Mason red coats, pouring cups or tea and champagne, with Fortnum’s signature wicker hampers arched around the doorway.

The new boutique offers a contemporary take on Fortnum’s iconic Piccadilly flagship, featuring the brand’s most-loved products and hampers, as well as an exclusive Fortnum’s x Bicester Village gift box, filled with chocolate pearl shortbread, Royal Blend tea, a Fortnum’s mug and local Banbury honey. The opening also marks the debut of ‘Fortnum & Mason On the Go’ kiosk at Bicester Village where visitors can enjoy handmade sourdough crumpets, with flavours curated by F&M Executive Chef Sam White – highlights include indulgent Coronation Chicken, as well as Strawberry & Champagne Preserve with Ivy Farm butter.
