This August, in celebration of World Elephant Day, Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and luxury accessories brand Elizabeth Scarlett will open the doors to an exclusive week-long pop-up at 30 Spital Square, London, running Sunday 10 – Sunday 17 August from 10am – 6pm.
The collaboration celebrates a shared mission: protecting elephants and the wild places they call home. Since 2019, Elizabeth Scarlett has proudly supported SWT, raising over £300,000 to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned elephants in Kenya.
Inside the pop-up, guests can:
- – Shop with Purpose – Discover Elizabeth Scarlett’s iconic embroidered accessories, including the brand-new Golden Elephant Collection, alongside Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s exclusive conservation gifts and adopt-an-elephant packages, all supporting the protection of orphaned elephants in the wild.
- – Immerse Yourself in the Experience – Enjoy family-friendly activities like face painting and creative arts for little ones, as well as sip-and-paint evenings for adults, all while diving into conservation storytelling and interactive experiences that bring the elephants’ journey from rescue to the wild to life.
- – Meet Elizabeth Scarlett and members of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust team throughout the week. Hear the stories behind the brand and the Trust’s incredible conservation work, and discover how your support directly helps orphaned elephants return to the wild.
The experience continues onto the streets of Spitalfields, where the public are invited to walk alongside the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s iconic ‘Herd of Hope’ — 21 life-size bronze elephant sculptures, created by acclaimed artists Gillie and Marc, representing real orphan elephants rescued by the Trust. In a powerful display of coexistence, the entire herd will line the busy thoroughfare of Brushfield Street, symbolic of the Trust’s message this World Elephant Day — and one that we echo: Every Step Matters.
