Co-op WholesaleExpress Cuisine’s Food to Go range is now available through Co-op Wholesale, bringing a fresh selection of wraps, sub rolls and sandwiches that are fully certified by both the Halal Monitoring Committee (HMC) and the Halal Food Authority (HFA).

Designed to offer worry-free, great-tasting options for customers seeking Halal products, the range delivers bold flavours with trusted credentials.

Included in the range are delicious, handcrafted options such as Chapli Kebab Wrap, Chicken Tikka Wrap, Falafel with Lemon & Chilli Mayo Wrap, Chicken Tikka Sandwich, and Tuna Mayonnaise Crunch Sandwich – all made with premium ingredients and bursting with flavour.

Leigh Cobden, wholesale category controller at Co-op Wholesale, said: “Express Cuisine has a powerful story rooted in community and principle, and we’re proud to bring their high-quality, Halal-certified products to our retailers. With a focus on fresh, handcrafted food made using responsibly sourced ingredients, this range offers both great taste and peace of mind. It’s a fantastic addition to our Food to Go offer, meeting the needs of today’s diverse convenience customers.”

Sohel Patel, managing director at Express Cuisine, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be working with Co-op Wholesale to make our range available to more retailers and customers than ever before. After a brief delay to launch, it’s fantastic to now see our products on shelves, offering great taste, trusted Halal certification, and something for everyone to enjoy.”

The Express Cuisine story began in the 1990s when the Patel Brothers, operators of multiple independent petrol service stations, sought pork-free sandwich options from their supplier. Taking matters into their own hands, they began making sandwiches in-house. Their principled approach resonated with fellow retailers, setting in motion what would become Express Cuisine.

Now under the stewardship of the second generation of the Patel family, Express Cuisine is primed for national growth, with major supermarkets and retail partners already embracing the brand.

From eco-friendly packaging made using recyclable materials to strict waste reduction policies, Express Cuisine ensures its environmental footprint is as thoughtful as its food.

With bold flavours, community values, and unwavering standards, the Express Cuisine range is now available to order through Co-op Wholesale – bringing high-quality Halal food to more shelves than ever before.
