Finisterre, the pioneering Cornish outdoor brand, is continuing its UK retail expansion with three new store openings in Spring 2025. The latest locations—Cambridge, Cardiff, and Poole—reflect the brand’s commitment to bringing functional and sustainable apparel to key outdoor and coastal communities across the UK.

Following a landmark year—including the launch of Finisterre’s new London flagship (80% larger than its previous location) and successful openings in Brighton and Holt—these new stores signal the next phase of Finisterre’s ambitious retail strategy. As of Spring 2025, the brand will operate 14 retail stores across the UK, deepening its connection with customers and furthering its mission of sustainable innovation.

New store highlights & locations

Cambridge – 2,300 sq. ft. | Opening end of March
Location: 23-24 Sidney Street, Cambridge, CB2 3HG
This store will serve Cambridge’s active outdoor community, offering a curated selection of Finisterre’s products, as well as services to keep your gear in good condition.

Cardiff – 2,100 sq. ft. | Opening April
Location: 27-29 Royal Arcade, Cardiff, CF10 1AE
Marking Finisterre’s first-ever store in Wales, Cardiff will introduce the brand’s cold-water surf heritage to a new audience in this vibrant city.

Poole – 2,500 sq. ft. | Opening May
Location: 8a Parr Street, Poole, BH14 0JY
Poole will become Finisterre’s second-biggest store after London, a central hub for the South Coast’s watersports and outdoor enthusiasts, offering a wide range of performance wear and eco-conscious products.

“These three new locations are an important step in Finisterre’s broader retail strategy,” said Will Sheane, CEO at Finisterre. “Expanding into key cities like Cambridge, Cardiff, and Poole enables us to strengthen our brand presence and connect with a diverse customer base. Each store represents a strategic opportunity to grow the Finisterre community while meeting the increasing demand for high-quality, functional outdoor wear.”

With these openings, Finisterre continues to build on its physical retail presence, blending exceptional in-store experiences with sustainability-driven innovation. Looking ahead, the brand is actively exploring further UK expansion beyond 2025.

The new stores will open throughout early 2025, with launch events and exclusive promotions planned. More details will be announced soon.
