Princesshay has announced that Le Creuset, the iconic French cookware and homeware brand, will open its first South West boutique in Exeter this September.
Located at 10 High Street, the new 1599sq ft store will create new employment opportunities, further strengthening Princesshay’s role in attracting leading retail brands to the city and supporting the local economy.
Known for crafting premium, colourful cookware since 1925, Le Creuset will offer customers its full range of expertly designed kitchenware, including its iconic cast iron collections, stoneware and everyday kitchen essentials.
Victoria Chantler, Princesshay asset manager, said: “We are delighted to welcome Le Creuset to Princesshay. As the home of the brand’s first boutique in the South West, this is a significant milestone for both Le Creuset and the centre. The addition of such an iconic and much-loved brand further enhances our retail offering and gives shoppers even more reasons to visit Exeter.”
Paul Frost, retail director at Le Creuset, said: “We are thrilled to be opening our first boutique in the South West and to be joining the vibrant retail community at Princesshay. Exeter is a city with a strong appreciation for craftsmanship and great food, making it the perfect home for our newest store. We look forward to welcoming both loyal Le Creuset customers and those discovering the brand for the first time, helping them find beautiful, quality cookware pieces to enjoy for years to come.”
The opening of Le Creuset follows the recent arrival of Bravissimo and comes ahead of the forthcoming opening of Black Sheep Coffee, highlighting Princesshay’s continued appeal to nationally recognised brands.
