Flying Tiger CopenhagenFlying Tiger Copenhagen will be opening its doors to a new retail space in The Centre, Livingston, on Friday, 28th November.

The store will launch on Black Friday – one of the busiest shopping days of the year – and will be supported by a suite of marketing and media activity. On opening day, the first 200 customers through the door will receive a goody bag and bonus prizes can be won via in-store games as well as on its social media channels.

The store will launch straight into its stylish and affordable Christmas campaign stock, offering customers the chance to shop everything they need for the festive season – from stocking fillers, gadgets and games to wrapping and festive sweet treats.

The 2,067sq ft retail unit will be the Danish retailer’s 83rd in the UK, and its 11th store in Scotland. The opening will create eight new permanent positions, as well as eight temp roles in the run up to the festive season.

Michael Burke, managing director for Flying Tiger Copenhagen UK & Ireland, comments: “We’re so delighted to be launching another store in Scotland. The Centre represents our commitment to strengthening our presence in key retail destinations across the UK and Ireland. We’re eager to continually expand and reach new audiences and introduce our diverse product range to local communities. With new items coming into stock every month, there’s always something new for our shoppers to discover. Our philosophy is simple: a richer life doesn’t cost a fortune.”

Simon Eatough, director at LCP UK, part of M Core and asset manager of The Centre, Livingston, said:  “We are really looking forward to welcoming Flying Tiger Copenhagen to The Centre, Livingston, which is great timing, just ahead of Christmas. Alongside our existing mix of great places to shop and dine out, which has been enhanced even more this year with many exciting new arrivals, we are confident the store will be a big hit with our shoppers.”
