Flying Tiger CopenhagenFlying Tiger Copenhagen will be opening its doors to a new retail space at Merry Hill shopping centre near Dudley on Friday, 3rd October.

Opening just in time for the autumn rush and festive build-up, the Danish variety retailer will celebrate its first day of trading with the first 200 customers through its door receiving a complimentary goody bag packed full of fun items. Expect magical moments from a live magician, plus the chance to try your luck on the Spin to Win wheel. Flying Tiger Copenhagen will also be running a series of exciting prizes through its social media channels.

The store will open with the brand’s hotly anticipated Halloween range, as well as its wider seasonal products and core ranges across Toys, Office, Hobby through to Home and Kitchen.

Debuting ahead of key trading periods like Black Friday and the festive season, Flying Tiger Copenhagen will be bringing its affordable collection to shoppers who want to stock up on everything from Halloween décor to everyday essentials like crockery and candles.

This store opening will also create 16 permanent jobs, providing new opportunities for locals, while supporting the wider West Midlands economy at a busy time for the retail sector.

Michael Burke, managing director for Flying Tiger Copenhagen UK & Ireland comments: “We’re delighted to announce our next store opening in Merry Hill. The centre represents a strategically important milestone in our expansion and demonstrates our commitment to strengthening our presence in key retail destinations across the UK and Ireland. We’re eager to continually expand and reach new audiences and introduce our diverse product range to local communities. With new items coming into stock every month, there’s always something new for our shoppers to discover. Our philosophy is simple: a richer life doesn’t cost a fortune.”

Jonathan Poole, centre manager at Merry Hill, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Flying Tiger Copenhagen to the centre – a brand known for its creativity and sense of fun. Whether visitors are popping in for everyday essentials or picking up something playful and unexpected, the new store adds even more variety to the experience here at Merry Hill.

It joins an expanding line-up of retail offerings, as we continue to invest in creating a destination that blends shopping with leisure and discovery. The opening is sure to be a hit with families and shoppers alike, and we can’t wait to welcome them this October.”
