f’real to launch UK exclusive flavour next month – Bubblegum

f’real, the leading self-serve milkshake brand in the UK, has announced the addition of a game-changing new flavour to its range of tastebud-tantalising frozen drinks. Super sweet and in a baby blue hue, Bubblegum will burst onto the blend-it-yourself beverage scene this spring.

Unique to the UK and available to f’real stockists from mid-March, Bubblegum is set to follow in the footsteps of USA-exclusive and non-traditional flavour Cotton Candy – one of the brand’s best-selling flavours Stateside.

Made with fresh milk, rich dairy ice cream and zero artificial ingredients, the new addition to the f’real family comes fresh off the back of a successful year of innovation. Over the last 12 months not one, not two, but three new flavours hit f’real freezers: Birthday Cake, Banana and Chocolate Fudge Brownie.

As with these new additions, the launch of Bubblegum will include enhanced support for f’retailers, such as digital POS, social media assets, and the continued rebrand roll out which sees new packaging and blender artwork in store.

With more than 20,000 blenders installed worldwide and over 350 million cups sold to date, f’real has huge appeal with millennials and Gen Z’ers looking for a convenient and tasty treat. The brand has gone from strength to strength since launching in the UK in 2018 and is currently stocked in more than 1,700 convenience stores across the country. With milkshakes representing 5.1% of all OOH soft drinks, growing from 4.6% in 2021[1], f’real offers an exciting opportunity for convenience retailers, quick service restaurants and pubs.

Gemma Briant, marketing manager at f’real, said: “Retailers and consumers alike have been clamouring for truly innovative flavours, and we’ve listened – Bubblegum is our first launch in a line-up of exciting, slightly different, NPD coming this year!

Given that the demand for Cotton Candy was so prevalent in the US, leading to its rapid switch from a Limited-Edition variant to one of the core flavours, we’re confident Bubblegum will see blenders across the country in overdrive this spring.”

Bubblegum will be available through all f’real’s distributors, including Booker, Eden Farm and Consort, from mid-March.

RRP: £3.50 (£3-£4 dependent on retailer discretion).
